Elin Nordegren is doing her best to move on. A year ago, she was reeling from revelations of infidelity by husband Tiger Woods. One year and one $110 million settlement later, things are better. On Saturday, she spent the day with their children, marking Saint Lucia’s Day with other Swedes at First United Methodist Church in Boca Raton, Fla. Elin Nordegren with Sam, 3, and Charlie, 1 1/2 . “Elin and the children were dancing around the Christmas tree with other families and having such a wonderful time,” a source told People . “Elin had a look of pure contentment on her face.” “To watch Elin and the children and the many other families come together was both inspirational and rewarding. The room was filled with love.” After the Tiger Woods scandal , she deserves it!

Michael Brea Arraigned on Second-Degree Murder Charges

Michael Brea, the small-time actor who briefly appeared on Ugly Betty , was arraigned on charges of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon on Friday. The 31-year old did not speak or enter a plea, but he’s already given an interview in which he went into grisly detail over the circumstances that led to his mother’s murder. Brea is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation and is being held without bail. His next hearing is scheduled for December 18. In a statement, Brea’s family refers to their relative as a “compassionate, gentle, intelligent, spiritual and loving man” who is in need of help, adding: “His family and friends know, without question, that Michael was not well in the moments leading to [his mother’s] death.”

Honestly, don’t the Palins have someone who can tell Bristol and Willow to STFU on Facebook? They’re not helping their mom’s cause … whatever that is. In response to Margaret Cho’s recent blog post about Sarah Palin forcing her to go on Dancing With the Stars, Bristol defended her family relatively well . That is, until she ended things with an unfunny gay crack at Cho’s expense. Bristol ruined what was otherwise a decent open letter to Cho . The 20-year-old takes issue with Cho’s assessment that Sarah “harshly and openly” blames Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston for losing the 2008 election. According to Bristol, if the comedian understood conservative politics better, she “would embrace us faster than KD Lang at an Indigo Girls concert.” KD Lang, the Indigo Girls and Margaret Cho? All lesbians. We realize this is basically harmless (except to the institution of comedy), but on the heels of Willow Palin’s homophobic rant , why go there? Idiot.
