Keith Wilder Dead At Age 65 Keith Wilder, the lead singer of 70’s funk band Heatwave, passed away on Sunday . He was 65 years old. While no specific cause of death has been disclosed, Wilder’s cousin and bandmate Billy Jones told Dayton.com that he had been suffering from health problems and died peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by his mother Lucille, his wife, Linda, three brothers and four children.
