Bob Knight has nothing on Mike Rice. Footage has surfaced of the Rutgers Men’s Basketball Coach heaving basketballs at his players’ heads in practice… kicking them when they’re down… hurling gay epithets at them and generally acting like a complete lunatic. Rice was suspended by Rutgers and fined $50,000 in December after Athletic Director Tim Pernetti witnessed the behavior depicted below. But he somehow remains employed by the school, and it gets worse: former director of player development Eric Murdock was dismissed last July after reporting these actions to his superiors.
