Dancing With the Stars Results: Who’s In? Who’s Out?

After the standard Week 1 reprieve, and the surprise exit of Dorothy Hamill last week due to injury, Dancing With the Stars finally cut someone tonight. The contestants seemed to fall into upper, middle and lower tiers, but as always, the voters have the final word and can really throw you for a loop. With that said, let’s get down to the results, shall we? Andy Dick, Wynonna Judd and DL Hughley appeared to be the most vulnerable heading into the results show … but were they they actual bottom three? The dancer exiting stage left this week is … Wynonna. Thoughts?

Idol Judges Actually Criticize Haley Reinhart!

Haley Reinhart sang Blondie’s “Call Me” Wednesday night, and she certainly nailed the song’s calling card – the “Call me!” exclamations in the chorus. But she botched some notes and despite having all kinds of fun up there on stage, sort of lost her way. So much so that the judges even criticized her! Watch her performance here and see if Reinhart deserved it: Haley Reinhart – Call Me (American Idol) “I didn’t love at the beginning of it,” opined Randy. “I don’t know if it was the song that didn’t do it for me. It just wasn’t a showcase for your voice.” Steven concurred, and Jennifer said that “If I’m going to be honest, I’m going to agree with Randy.” By J. Lo standards, that’s tearing a new one! Will she be in the American Idol bottom three? You tell us.

Casey Reinhardt to Star in New Reality Show

Casey Reinhardt, the sister of Paris Hilton’s beau Doug Reinhardt and best known as the blonde girl on Laguna Beach not named Kristin Cavallari or Lauren Conrad , is getting her own reality show on E!, with Doug serving as producer. Got all that? According to reports, Doug is envisioning a Kardashian-style show for Casey Reinhardt and her girlfriends, in which he and Paris Hilton will also appear periodically. Why would E! possibly go for this? Insiders say the network hopes for wedding bells between Paris and Doug, which could deliver a big ratings bonanza similar to Khloe Kardashian’s tearful nuptials. Would you watch a Casey Reinhardt reality show? Over 3.2 million viewers tuned in last November to see Khloe marry Lamar Odom. E! hopes that Paris Hilton can pull in that many, or at least in the same ballpark. An inside source told the N.Y. Post , “Doug and Paris will also appear on the show, and executives hope that an engagement will happen in the next six months.” Hey, she’s already dropping hints . Reinhardt’s agent, Greg Weiss, confirmed, “Doug is producing the show, which will star his sister and her friends. But he and Paris will also make appearances.” As for Casey, the show’s supposed star? She’s a former beauty queen who’s a student at Pepperdine University and is working on her own cosmetics line. Cute.

American Idol Frowns on Lacey Brown

Following Tuesday night’s American Idol performances , and given how average a lot of them were, it isn’t surprising to see Lacey Brown go on last night’s results show. The pastor’s daughter from Texas got no love from the judges or the fans for her cover of “Ruby Tuesday,” landing in the bottom three with Tim Urban and Paige Miles. Urban would’ve been equally deserving of a pink slip, but this isn’t The Bachelor , where they make up rules on the fly. One stays, one goes. Nice knowing you, Lacey. Ryan announced the return of the “Judges Save” option, allowing the esteemed panel to reverse decisions if fans really, really screw up, but it was not used on Brown. Instead, she sang farewell to her attempt at stardom with Brandi Carlile’s “The Story,” an emotional track prominently featured on Grey’s Anatomy a few seasons ago. Lacey Brown bids American Idol farewell. If Brown and her bottom three cohorts underscored anything, it was how dramatic the dropoff is in talent from the top handful to the rest of the pack. Here’s how we see the remaining finalists going forward, grouped into tiers … The Contenders Crystal Bowersox Siobhan Magnus Michael Lynche Casey James Should Hang Around Awhile Didi Benami Lee DeWyze Andrew Garcia Bottom Three Calling Any Day Now Paige Miles Aaron Kelly Katie Stevens Tim Urban
