Eric Johnson: Cheating on Ex-Wife With Jessica Simpson? And Vice Versa?

Jessica Simpson may want to keep Eric Johnson on a short leash. At least if a new tabloid report is to be believed. The former NFL star allegedly slept with Jessica while still married to, and living with, his ex-wife Keri. Jess may have believed his marriage was truly over , but it was not the case; Eric jumped headfirst into his relationship with Jessica while they were having problems. They hadn’t split up for good yet, though, which sparked outrage. “He’s a two-timing cheat!” alleges one pal of his now ex-wife. “He was still having sex with Keri after he started seeing Jessica. She needs to think twice before marrying him. He’s already cheated on her once – he’ll most likely do it again.” Meanwhile, it doesn’t look like Eric and Jessica Simpson , who recently welcomed their first child, Maxwell, will be tying the knot anytime soon. Probably for the best. You don’t want to be with a man who wants the cow and the milk for free. Or something. Basically, watch your back Jess. Once a cheater, always a cheater. Maybe. Who knows if he’d do it to Jessica as easily as he’d do it with Jessica. Or if this piece of celebrity gossip is even true to begin with. What do you think?

Fall Leaves: Delayed By Climate Change?

Is the annual turning of fall leaves into brilliant colors being delayed by climate change? That’s the theory of some scientists given the record temperatures in the U.S. this year, which will likely mean colors changing later, exaggerating an ongoing trend. Studies in Europe and Japan have indicated that leaves are both changing color and dropping later, and areas of the United States are beginning to show similar signs. Accuweather (dot) com’s Valerie Smock explains that when leaves turn from green to shades of yellow, orange and red, it’s only only because of the temperature, but daylight. The production of chlorophyll, the green pigment in leaves, slows down during the fall, when the days get shorter, revealing other color pigments normally hidden from view. However, “If autumn days are cool, trees quicken the change. If autumn days are warm, trees delay the change. So overall, global warming could delay leaves from turning.” In short, maybe push back that trip to Vermont by a week or two. Or if you’re a climate change denier, rip the liberal media for distorting the facts to foster its own agenda.
