Prepare yourselves for an extra special story about a cat and a dog. A couple weeks ago, we reported on a feline who adopted a pit bull and helped nurse it back to health. Now, we’re very proud to present Ruth the cat and Idgie the dachshund. They were found abandoned at the end of a driveway in Florida last October and Ruth is partially paralyzed; she gets around by dragging her body with her front paws. And they’re best friends. The animals have been adopted by Hollywood Houndz Boutique & Spa, where owner Jacqueline Borum says they get endless attention. “We’ve seen friendships between dogs and cats before, but never anything like this.
