Jenelle Evans doesn't have the best track record when it comes to keeping her pets happy and healthy, you know? It's actually kind of a whole thing. Over the years, we've seen her treat quite a few animals badly, and it's always been difficult to see. But after what happened with Nugget earlier this year, you'd think she'd have learned to be a bit more careful. No such luck, as it turns out … 1. Looking Back As we said, Jenelle has never been much of an animal lover — remember back in the day on Teen Mom 2 when she crammed her two big dogs in one crate, yelled at them, then opened the door for them to go outside and tried to get them to run away? 2. Memories Or what about the time she tried to get her dog to play fetch with a lit firework? 3. Ugh And then there was the the time when her dog started showing up in photos with what very much looked like a broken tail. She never seemed too concerned about that. 4. RIP Nugget All of that was truly awful, but it was nothing when compared to what David did to Nugget. 5. Poor Pup Nugget was Jenelle’s little French bulldog, and she appeared to be especially attached to it. But when the dog nipped at Ensley, David thought that instead of trying to train the dog or teach his kids how to interact with animals, he’d just take the dog outside and shoot it. 6. A Mystery Some reports claimed that he beat the dog before killing it, others claimed that when he came back inside afterwards, he was covered in blood. B lack women are making historic moves in the realm of entrepreneurship. According to Atlanta Black Star , Dr. Venaya Jones recently opened the first veterinary clinic in Cleveland to be owned and operated by an African American woman. The facility offers a wide spectrum of services including diagnostic exams, dermatology, wellness visits, and hospice care. Dr. Jones—who discovered her passion for helping animals at a young age—says she wants to utilize the Cleveland Veterinary Clinic as an avenue to push animal health care forward and establish the clinic as a go-to veterinary facility in Cleveland. “I feel like it’s a great opportunity here in Cleveland, especially there being no other vet hospitals here,” she said in a statement. “There are tons of people with pets, we’re in the health tech corridor. I mean, this is where quality medicine is discovered and done, and I want to be a part of that.” For the Western University College of Veterinary Medicine graduate, opening up the Cleveland Veterinary Clinic was about more than her passion for animal health care; its about representation. Dr. Jones hopes her journey will inspire Black youth to pursue careers in veterinary medicine. She mentors youth and other women of color who are interested in stepping into the field. “I’m hoping to uplift the community both physically and emotionally, health wise by taking care of their pets, but … also bringing a sense of pride and a sense of accomplishment,” she said. “I want to be able to show other [young minorities] that they can do it, anything that they dream of, because here is a Black woman that’s come into this community and made it happen.” Black entrepreneurs are breaking barriers in the medical field. 21-year-old Kylie Jenner just tried cereal with milk for the first time , but she’s not the only one in the family hitting new milestones. Baby Stormi is days away from being 8 months old, and she will soon be learning to walk . But you don’t have to take our word for it — just look at what her father shared on social media. Travis Scott was gushing with fatherly pride as he shared an image of baby Stormi Webster standing up — with assistance. “We about to be walking soon,” Travis scrawled across the image. He’s right — she’s at the right age, and she’s clearly practicing with her leg muscles. “OG 3s,” Travis added. “I see u mama.” Stormi is, of course, sporting some fancy looking baby shoes. She is too cute for words. Travis isn’t the only one of Stormi’s parents whose love for her overflows onto social media. Kylie recently shared a glimpse of Stormi standing — again, with assistance, but it’s very healthy exercise for her baby legs. In the video, Stormi’s legs flex as she instinctively dances to music. Kylie captioned the video: “love you so much it hurts.” You don’t need to feel that powerful rush of oxytocin yourself in order to know that Kylie means it. Last month, Kylie Jenner gushed about Travis’ parenting skills in a Vogue Australia interview that she gave to her sister, Kendall. “I love learning together,” Kylie said. “And just watching him with her.” Becoming a new parent can be a major challenge, but it helps if you have a good grasp of right and wrong, a lot of patience, and solid parenting instincts. And Kylie cannot stop talking about how wonderful Travis is with their daughter. “He’s so good with her and she’s really obsessed with him,” she reveals. So cute! Kylie has also spoken about how Stormi has transformed her. “I feel like having a daughter, and thinking about beauty in the future, has definitely changed me,” Kylie admits. That’s a big deal on a personal level — but a bigger deal for the world’s foremost influencer who is also a makeup mogul. Kylie continues: “And I feel like it has made me love myself more and accept everything about me.” That sounds really beautiful and healthy, even if some cannot help but wonder if part of that has been Kylie growing up and becoming more mature. She’s 21 now, after all. It is really no surprise that Kylie is a doting, affectionate mother. Kylie has always — unlike some of her siblings — been a nurturing individual towards her pets. That can be a great sign that someone has a lot of love to give as a parent. We just hope that Kylie is bracing herself for the “terrible twos.” It is also no surprise that Travis Scott is a great dad. Contrary to some baseless claims that he was going to be a total deadbeat, we learned last February 4 that he went to countless appointments and checkups with Kylie throughout her pregnancy. Kendall Jenner has come under fire after leaving a restaurant … after a woman accused Kendall’s dog of allegedly biting a small child. Oh no! That is, for the record, much worse than her boyfriend Blake’s ex scoring a major child-support win . The case has been referred to animal control, but Kendall is implying that the world doesn’t know the whole story. TMZ reports that Kendall Jenner had the police called on her over an alleged dog bite over the weekend. According to reports, Kendall and her hunky boyfriend Blake Griffin stopped by the Beverly Glen Deli in L.A. They ate on the patio of the restaurant. While they were there, there was allegedly (and this is disputed) and incident in which Kendall’s doberman pinscher “bit” a young girl. That’s a scary situation! There are a couple of things that people should note. First of all, Kendall’s dog was reportedly harnessed during this, so we probably shouldn’t be imagining her letting her furbaby wander here and there. Second of all, the alleged bite — even when first reported — did not leave any detectable puncture wounds. According to reports, since the restaurant itself was unable to find a clear indicator of an injury, they gave the child some ice. The mother claimed that Kendall and Blake simply paid their bill and left instead of addressing it with her, which is apparently why she elected to dial 9-1-1 over the incident. On Monday, however, TMZ updated the story. According to sources close to Kendall, she didn’t leave until she made absolutely sure that the “dog bite” had not resulted in any injuries. Only when she was sure that everything was okay did she and Griffin hit the road. We don’t know exactly what happened, of course, but the insider says that the dog was startled by the small child. Whatever did happen, TMZ says that their source reports that the dog did not bite the girl and may have not even touched her. As to what did go down … well, Kendall can’t comment just yet. A writer and editor linked to a Cosmopolitan article about the incident, and wrote some very inflammatory words on Tiwtter. “Add this to the growing list of reasons why @KendallJenner is a disturbingly despicable, entitled, unsympathetic, sadistic, uncharitable and self-absorbed human being,” the tweet reads. The tweet goes on to describe Kendall as someone “who doesn’t deserve to be idolized. (Yes, I went there.)” Kendall saw that tweet, and quoted it with a very gentle reply. “Oof i’m sorry you feel that way,” Kendall writes. “Hope to meet you one day to show you the real me,” Kendall continues. “Maybe i’ll tell you a little bit about the story too,” Kendall concludes, adding: “God bless.” She followed those words with the emoji of two hands with their palms touching. Some may believe that Kendall is lying and that her dog bit a child — even if there are no visible injuries. Others may believe that this mother saw an opportunity to try to get some money out of one of a famous and wealthy family. We would suggest that there may be a middle ground. If a child approached Kendall’s dog in a startling way and the dog barked or snapped in alarm, the child may have been scared and the mother may have overreacted.
