Patrick Swayze showed tremendous courage as he battled pancreatic cancer and it wasn’t just medics who marveled at the way in which he battled the disease – so did we. Just over a year ago we were humbled by this encounter with the Dirty Dancing singer who spoke to us as he jetted out of LA airport to work on the TV cop drama The Beast in Chicago.
