The landmark Lifetime reality series Dance Moms will finally return with new episodes in June. This would be exciting enough news for fans of the long-running program, but there's more. Oh, there is more. But they have an entirely different and inspiring reason to look forward to Season 8, as teased in the trailer below: Abby Lee Miller is back! She isn't just back on the show, following an emotional resignation in 2017 . She's back from a very serious battle with cancer. Having battled a number of health issues over the past several months, Miller comes across as more determined than ever. Everything is Different Now “In an instant, your life changes completely,” Miller says in the clip, which is followed by candid footage of her fighting back tears in a hospital bed. 2. Best Laid Plans Gone Awry “I was ready to go back to work and start my life over and now I can’t even walk,” she says. 3. Simply Heartbreaking Even for those who have been critical of her conduct over the years, it’s impossible to watch this footage and not tear up along with Abby. 4. But She’s Ready to Fight! “I need to get back to teaching and I need to get back to screaming at children,” she says in the trailer. “I need to get back to my roots. I’m going to take these kids right back to the turf.” 5. What Actually Happened? In April 2018, a day after undergoing emergency surgery for what was initially believed to be a spinal infection, the reality star was preliminarily diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer that develops in the lymphatic system. 6. She Almost Died Miller went into the emergency room after she experienced “excruciating neck pain” and weakness in her arm. Charlie Sheen: Broke and Nearly Homeless?

Hard to believe it’s been almost 8 years since the infamous Charlie Sheen meltdown . The erratic behavior that cost Sheen his lucrative gig on Two and a Half Men is usually remembered with a laugh these days — not unlike Britney Spears’ 2007 breakdown. But in both cases, those who were quick to laugh at the stars’ erratic behavior often ignored the deep-seated pain that motivated it. Yes, it was funny when Sheen called himself a warlock from Mars, but all that bravado was masking some profound inner turmoil. For one thing , Sheen had been diagnosed as HIV positive  but had not yet gone public with his medical issues with the public. By his own admission, Sheen used alcohol and drugs to try and quell the anxiety caused by his life-threatening condition. None of this is to excuse the behavior he exhibited during his meltdown, but it may help us to understand why TV’s highest paid actor would throw it all away — and how he came to arrive in his current, lowly state. After revealing he’d been diagnosed with HIV, Sheen was sued by several former romantic partners who claimed he’d endangered their lives by failing to disclose his condition. These days, Charlie says he’s up to his neck in lawsuits and unable to find work due to his condition. According to a new report from Radar Online, the situation has become so bad that Sheen is in danger of losing his home . In an attempt to alleviate his financial woes, Sheen recently filed a request to have his monthly child support payments to actress Denise Richards slashed in half. “Since June 2016, my income has changed significantly,” Charlie wrote in his appeal. “I have been unable to find steady work and have been blacklisted from many aspects of the entertainment industry. “All of this has resulted in a significant reduction in my earnings.” Amazingly, the court sided with Sheen and allowed him to reduce his payments. This, just a few years after the actor was pulling in a whopping $1.8 million an episode on TV’s highest-rated sitcom. We’re guessing the warlock from Mars isn’t using #Winning as his personal mantra anymore these days.

R.I.P. Openly Gay Latin Trap Artist Kevin Fret Shot & Killed In Puerto Rico

Source: Danita Delimont / Getty Fans Mourn The Death Of A Trailblazer Kevin Fret was known by many as the first openly gay Latin trap artist on his way to stardom. But unfortunately, his life ended in tragedy on Friday when he was shot and killed in Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was only 24 years old. According to Billboard , Fret was shot on his motorcycle around 5:30 a.m. local time and he passed away at the Medical Center of Rio Piedras. The case is still under investigation and the motives behind the shooting have yet to be determined. In an official statement, Fret’s manager, Eduardo Rodriguez confirmed the news: “Kevin was an artistic soul, a big-hearted dreamer. His passion was music, and still had a lot to do. This violence must stop. There are no words that describe the feeling we have and the pain that causes us to know that a person with so many dreams has to go. We must all unite in these difficult times, and ask for much peace for our beloved Puerto Rico.” Fret first gained major attention when he dropped his single “Soy Asi” in April 2018. The music video has close to 700,000 views on YouTube and in an interview with Paper magazine , Fret described how he wanted to be as authentic as possible with his debut. “I had everything in my mind, like the day I come out [in Latin trap] as a gay guy,” he said. “I’m going to make my first video and I’m going to be showing my stomach, and I’m going to act like I don’t give a damn about what anybody has to say — with my blonde hair, my black nails, showing my stomach, glittery from head to toe.”   In the wake of Kevin’s death he’s already received an outpouring of condolences from fans and celebrities alike. But don’t get too jealous, doctors say it’s temporary! “Chen” from Xiamen, China knew something was wrong when she woke up and couldn’t hear her boyfriend’s voice, Newsweek reported. The woman reportedly heard ringing in her ears and vomited and an ear, nose and throat specialist at Qianpu Hospital told Ms. Chen that she had a form of low-frequency hearing loss known as reverse-slope hearing loss. This meant she was unable to hear lower-frequency sounds, including the average male voice. Dr. Lin Xiaoqing, a woman doctor who treated Ms Chen, said the patient was able to hear her when she spoke but couldn’t hear a male patient. “She couldn’t hear him at all,” said Dr. Xiaoqing, according to MailOnline. As well as struggling to hear low-frequency voices, those with the condition can find it tough to make out voices on the phone, as well as noises like the hum of the fridge or thunder. This can put sufferers in danger, as they may not hear noises like oncoming cars. Yikes! Although rare, Doctors believe the condition was brought on by stress. Around 3,000 people in North America are affected by the same condition. Dr. Xiaoqing said Ms. Chen is expected to make a full recovery with some rest according to her doctor.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. to Jef Holm: Looks Like I’m Still With Lauren, You A-Hole!

Controversial The Bachelor alum Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his fiancee, Lauren Burnham, are preparing for their upcoming wedding. Arie and Lauren are also expecting their first child , which is very exciting for them and for their fans. But now that he’s been with Lauren for a year, Arie is reminding former friend Jef Holm that Jef lost a bet — and needs to pay up. “Doesn’t matter who gets out of the limo…” Jef tweeted on January 1, 2018. Jef then wrote: “I’ll give 5k to the charity of @chrisbharrison’s choice.” His generous offer came with one very simple condition. Jef would do so “if @ariejr lasts 1 year with anyone.” Arie has now been with Lauren Burnham for one year. In honor of the New Year, Arie ushered in 2019 as you would expect from a happily engaged man who’s expecting his first child. He brought up a frenemy’s old tweet. “Pay up @jefholm…” Arie’s tweet begins. Arie then demanded that Jef “Put that trust fund money into something positive instead of bottle service.” Trust fund-shaming is a time-honored tradition, but here it seems  “A–hole” On the one hand, people should really not make vows to donate ot charitable causes unless they intend to follow through. Don’t say “I’ll eat my hat” if you don’t mean it — at least, don’t say it on television or in a tweet. It could come back to haunt you. (This is where Milennial and Gen Z humor comes in handy; just say something like “I will face God and walk backwards into hell,” quoting the great Dril) But Jef could make a very easy argument that he doesn’t owe Arie one red cent. Why? Because Jef’s words say “if Arie lasts one year with anything,” the spirit of tweet is extremely clear to everyone but Arie. He meant that the final winner on The Bachelor would not still be with Arie in a year’s time. Arie proposed to Becca Kufrin. She and Arie did not last even close to one year. He famously invited ABC to film him breaking up with her. It was only after the heartbreak that Arie proposed to Lauren Burnham. Has he been with Lauren for one year? Yes. But only after he backtracked, because she was his runner-up. Jef’s prediction wasn’t necessarily wrong. Jef Holm and Arie Luyendyk Jr. used to be buddies. But in September of 2017, after it was revealed that Arie was going to be the next Bachelor, Jef explained why they were no longer friends. Sort of. Jef said that he had ended the friendship because Arie was “disgusting.” It’s unclear exactly what he meant by that, since he did not elaborate on what about Arie grossed him out. But his dislike is abundantly clear, and Arie is not hiding the fact that the loathing is mutual. Just like in other relationships, some friendships end messily. It’s a little baffling to see a soon-to-be father feuding on Twitter just a week and a half before his wedding. (His wedding date is January 12, 2019) Jef’s words must have really rubbed Arie the wrong way. It’s a little odd that Arie would bring this up at all, however. Being the guy who stays with a girl for a while because of a bet is usually the role of the bad guy in a romantic comedy. Actually … Arie fits that trope on multiple levels. We're (mostly) kidding, although we have been given a new reason to think there's hope yet for these two crazy kids. There's been chatter for weeks that Lowry and Lopez were once again a romantic item and we're now more convinced than ever that it could be true. How come? What did Lopez do? Preeclampsia is a pregnancy complication characterized by high blood pressure and signs of damage to another organ system, most often the liver and kidneys. 2. Okay. So?!? Lowry was open about suffering from this condition back when she was pregnant with Lux. 3. That Sucks for Her. Yes it does. And yet she was recently taken to task by social media trolls, one of whom wrote: “Pre Eclampsia is no joke, and definitely not some storyline filler. Tamra Judge: Worried Eddie Will Die!

When Tamra Judge isn’t on reality television exposing Shannon Beador’s secret boyfriend , she’s worrying about her husband. Eddie Judge has a serious heart condition. He’s had surgeries for it and is scheduled to have more. Tamra is at her wit’s end. She’s worried that her husband could drop dead at any moment. Eddie Judge has already had seven heart surgeries in an attempt to deal with his heart condition, atrial fibrillation. As Tamra Judge revealed to Andy Cohen during the taping of the second portion of the reunion special, her husband will need to undergo two more. Sorry — at least two more heart surgeries. RadarOnline reports that one one of those surgeries is right around the corner, and Tamra is losing her mind over it. “Eddie will be having another surgery in the coming weeks,” the insider shares. The source explains that the surgery’s purpose is “to close up a hole that was left in his heart after his most recent procedure.” Every surgery is a risk, but so is this heart condition. None of this is sitting well with Tamra. “Tamra is scared to death that he is going to die,” the insider reveals. This is an extremely natural fear. One that we hope will not be realized. This latest surgery didn’t dredge up Tamra’s worries out of the blue. She’s had this concern since day one. “She has been fearing this all along,” the insider shares. “And she is trying to stay strong,” the source affirms. The insider acknowledges: “but it’s very hard.” “Just when she thinks that they fixed the problem,” the source characterizes. “He needs another operation.” Recently, Tamra herself spoke on this topic. “I have to stay strong,” she affirmed. “But I’m super scared because I’m just afraid what if? What if?” “What if he has a heart attack?” she asks, for example. “He has a stroke?” “All these things. Like the other day, he wouldn’t wake up,” she shares. That sounds harrowing. “His alarm was going off and he was just laying there so peaceful,” she characterizes. Tamra continues: “I’m like, ‘Eddie!’ And he was just laying there. I’m like, ‘Oh my god, he died!’ I’m like, ‘Eddie!’ Like that.” Tamra has spoken in the past about how she feels that Eddie’s body has betrayed him. Eddie Judge is 45 years old, and will turn 46 in March of 2019. Atrial fibrillation is a little surprising in someone his age.  Though the condition is considered “very common” in adults aged 41 to 60, it is often associated with old age. Additionally, Tamra is a fitness buff and Eddie keeps his body extremely fit. Sometimes, those who devote themselves to exercise are more surprised when their bodies develop life-threatening conditions. Atrial fibrillation is different from, say, a simple heart attack. In the simplest possible terms, the heart malfunctions and that can change one’s resting heartrate and blood pressure. There are a number of solutions. A procedure known as a cardioversion can shock the heartrate into returning to a normal rhythm. Some even get pacemakers to ensure that their heartrate remains stable. Tina Turner Reveals That Her Husband Was The Donor For A Life-Saving Kidney Transplant

Benett/Dave Benett/Getty Images Tina Turner’s New Memoir Reveals Details Of Kidney Transplant Tina Turner‘s relationship with husband and musical partner Ike was very public, but after theirs ended in divorce, her story continued onto a different path.  In her upcoming memoir  My Love Story , the diva details what happened with her second chance at love, and how it literally saved her life in more ways than just romantically. In 1985, nearly a decade after she left Ike for the long haul, she met her current husband, Erwin Bach. By the early ’90s, the couple shared a home in Cologne, Germany, before his job required a move to Switzerland — where they reside today. Even though she turned down his first marriage proposal, they ended up tying the knot in 2013 after more than 26 years as a couple. Unfortunately for the newlyweds, Turner suffered a stroke only three short weeks after they got married. Shortly after healing from that, only a few years later in 2016, Tina Turner was diagnosed with intestinal cancer. Unpleasant side effects led Turner to choose homeopathic remedies for her illness, but unfortunately, this only caused her condition to get worse–and before long, she faced total kidney failure. In her memoir, Turner then reveals that Bach made the ultimate offering to his wife: he volunteered to donate a kidney. The operation took place in April 2017, and though it was largely a success, she still goes through her fair share of complications as her body tries to reject the new organ. “I lived through a hellish marriage that almost destroyed me, but I went on. I know that my medical adventure is far from over. But I’m still here — we’re still here, closer than we ever imagined.” She says in her memoir, according to PEOPLE . “I can look back and understand why my karma was the way it was. Good came out of bad. Joy came out of pain. And I have never been so completely happy as I am today.”

Alan Alda Reveals Parkinson’s Disease Diagnosis

Alan Alda, the veteran and beloved actor, who is also a six-time Emmy Award winner, announced on Tuesday morning that he has Parkinson's disease. The long-time star, who anchored one of the most popular programs of all-time (M.A.S.H.) as combat doctor Hawkeye Pierce, opened up about this condition in an interview with CBS today. “I was diagnosed three-and-a-half years ago and I've had a full life since then,” the 82-year-old said, adding: “I've acted, I've given talks, I help at the Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook, I've started this new podcast.” Wow. As you can tell, this diagnosis has not slowed Alda down one bit. He didn't even really plan on going public with the news until he realized that he might not have a choice. “I had been on television a lot in the last couple of weeks talking about the new podcast – and I could see my thumb twitch in some shots and I thought, it's probably only a matter of time before somebody does a story about this from a sad point of view, but that's not where I am,” he explained on air. The podcast to which he keeps referring is called Clear+Vivid. It explores all the ways in which people communicate with each other. Alda also emphasized during this interview that he isn't “angry” about what has happened to him. The widely respected star has enjoyed memorable stints on such hits shows as the West Wing, 30 Rock, The Big C, The Blacklist and, most recently, The Good Fight. “There are some common symptoms, but mostly everybody's different and each day is different from the next,” Alda said about his illness. “One day you wake up, you think, oh, it's over, it's gone. Next day it's back a little worse. You don't know what it's going to be, but the main thing is, there's stuff you can do and I've been — you know how I look at it? “It's like a puzzle to be solved. What do I have to adapt to to carry on a normal life? And I enjoy solving puzzles.” What an admirable attitude. Parkinson’s is a neurodegenerative disease that results in movement-related problems, commonly referred to as “motor” functions.  Symptoms can include impaired balance and coordination, slurred speech and difficulty walking.
