But people on social media weren’t the only ones concerned with her decision; Erica’s 11-year-old son doesn’t approve of his future baby sister not getting vaccinated, either–and he let his mom know exactly how he felt. The Love & Hip Hop star posted a screenshot of a text conversation with her son King Conde, who she shares with her ex Raul, onto her Instagram story. Throughout the conversation, you see her son trying to convince Mena to rethink her view on not vaccinating. King writes his mom, “just admit youre wrong and give up.” Erica responded, “Don’t talk to your mother like this is disrespectful and not gonna be tolerated.” He came back with a little bit of snark, writing, “oh, I’m sorry for wanting my baby sister to live as healthy as possible. While youre convinced ignoring what right for her is fine? Im sorry for possibly being disrespectful but im only being that way because im passionate about this. I love you.” The screenshot ended with Erica’s message, saying, “Look at you being a great big brother. Even though Kate Gosselin keeps exploiting her remaining kids for cash , it doesn’t sound like Jon is interested in the reality business. For the moment, he is focused on making sure that Hannah and Collin have a stable home and continue to excel at school. He wants what’s best for them, and that means having normal teenage experiences instead of serving as cash cows for either parent. An inside source has opened up to HollywoodLife about Jon Gosselin and his plans for Hannah and Collin. Unlike his tyrannical ex-wife, he actually gives them choices in life, but he does have an idea for their high school experiences. “Jon only wants what’s best for kids,” the insider affirms. “And,” the source continues, he is “working so hard to protect his kids.” Being on camera as babies is generally harmless. Spending a decade and a half as reality stars is not. And neither is growing up with Kate for a mother. Instead of micromanaging Hannah and Collin’s activities, interests, and thoughts, he just takes an interest in them. “Jon keeps up on everything going on in all his children’s lives,” the insider states. The source adds that, at least, he does “the very best he can.” Not all of his children are so easy for him to talk to. The insider acknowledges: “but he mainly focuses on the two he has at home.” The source explains that, quite simply, this is “because he knows what’s going on with them.” Like the other four sextuplets, Collin and Hannah are 15 years old. A judge’s opinion was that filming was not in the best interests of her minor children, but allegedly she and TLC figured that they’d just film anyway and pay a fine. On a more positive note, Jon and his girlfriend Colleen Conrad have created a lovely and shockingly normal home. “He’s built a great life for them,” the source expresses. “And they love to go to the beach, the city,” the insider shares. “And love traveling together.” The source observes: “He really lets them have a normal childhood.” At least, as normal as it can be when you’re from a famous reality family, you just escaped from your mother, and one of you was locked in an institution without a satisfactory explanation. Jon may be continuing to bond with Hannah and Collin, but he’s not playing favorites. Last month, Angelina Jolie ugly cried as she dropped off her first (& low-key favorite) child Maddox Jolie-Pitt at college in South Korea . Jolie was filmed by students as she said her farewells at Yonsei University in Seoul; she even did a little interview with the students where she said, “It seems like a great school!” and “I hope you’re all going to like it.” Maddox remained by her side the entire time, which was honestly too adorable, most kids would die at the thought of their parents causing them so much attention on their first day of college. But alas, Maddox is now a college freshman studying biochem, we feel very old, and Angie is left feeling empty inside. He is the first one to leave the nest after all! And they were extremely close, according to a source that told Entertainment Tonight that “she loves him and is so proud of how wise he is beyond his years.” “Maddox is very attached to his mom. She’s always stood by him,” shared the source. While at this year’s D23 Expo, she opened up to Disney fans about how much she misses her son, but that she is already planning trips to get back out there and visit him. As we reported earlier this week, several members of the Duggar family are in the Bahamas assisting in hurricane relief efforts . Sounds admirable enough at first, but like everything the Duggars do, the rescue mission has become a source of controversy. The official Duggar Instagram account (operated by Jim Bob and Michelle) announced the trip by posting the above photo. Their caption read: “John, Jana, Jason, and James took off early this morning with a medical and disaster relief team to the Bahamas to help after the massive devastation from #HurricaneDorian.” The Duggars’ efforts were criticized from the start for two distinct reasons: For one, many questioned the decision to leave Jana Duggar out of the photo, despite the fact that she took part in the trip. That’s upsetting enough. On top of that, the Duggars have been blasted online for their lack of training, as several fans have pointed out that there’s not a rescue professional in the bunch. Moreover, it seems they founded their own rescue organization for the trip – something they’ve called Medic Corp – rather than simply joining up with the Red Cross or another well-established organization. This could be because they feared they’d be turned away for their lack of training and experience. Or it might be because Medic Corp was created with a profit or tax-incentive motive in mind. Either way, it’s troubling. Still, the Duggars deserve credit for their willingness to roll up their sleeves and get to work rebuilding the battered Bahamas. Right? And fans should definitely lay off Anna Duggar for recent, innocent comments she made about their efforts. Anna is pregnant with her sixth child , so she obviously didn’t participate in the rescue effort herself, but she’s been offering words of support on social media. “Keep praying for those that have been affected by this terrible hurricane,” she wrote. She later commented on posts made by her sisters-in-law, writing: “And [pray for] all of the people that have gone down to do relief work!” and “Praying for the group.” All of those comments went mostly unnoticed, of course. When Anna announced her plans to “have a girls night while the guys are away!” however, some of her followers became upset. Yes, apparently, a number of ultra-sensitive Instagram users felt that it was inappropriate of Anna to use the hurricane as an excuse to have fun. We guess we would agree if that’s what she were doing – but she’s not. Would these critics have the same objection to a bunch of military wives getting together while their husbands are overseas? We think not. What’s really going on here is that a lot of folks simply don’t like Anna, ever, because she’s still married to Josh Duggar . 90 Day Fiance fans have been going over Azan Tefou’s every action with a fine-toothed comb, trying to figure out just what is the deal with him and Nicole Nafziger. One day, we’re convinced their relationship is finally over , the next day Nicole is posting about when the wedding will take place . Again. In the latest shocking twist on this emotional roller coaster, it seems Azan not only has a secret wife in Morocco, but he also got her pregnant! If true, this would mean Azan has an entirely different family that he’s been hiding from Nicole all this time. Could he really have been stringing her along all this time? If this is true, it ties in perfectly to the couple’s last big incident, which already had fans fuming, and worrying for Nicole. Viewers will remember that Azan bailed on his planned trip to Grenada with Nicole, in the most shady way possible. He broke the news literally the day before the trip was to take place, well after she had already purchased the tickets and made all the plans. Azan could barely be bothered to even come up with an excuse. He just said there was a “family emergency,” and refused to elaborate. Fans didn’t buy it. Nicole’s mother didn’t buy it. Now it looks like there may have been some truth to Azan’s half-assed excuse. A pregnant wife would certainly qualify as a family emergency. And, it would obviously be the kind of thing he would choose not to go into detail about. Host Shaun Robinson even asked Azan about the Grenada no-show incident during the recent 90 Day Fiance Tell-All special. Azan did not tell all. He simply doubled down on the secrecy, saying it was private, and he couldn’t talk about it. Azan is pretty dodgy every time he’s asked about stuff like this. Even when questioned by his fiance on-air, he says the bare minimum, or just goes silent until she changes the subject. Some of their scenes are just painful to watch as a result. The increasingly shady behavior has fans pouring over old social media posts looking for evidence that will prove his infidelity. The search has turned up several individuals who say they know him and his family in Morocco. They claim Azan is definitely taking Nicole for a ride , and that his whole family is in on it. However true these allegations are, it’s clear that something is amiss with Azan. Even if he’s not cheating, he needs to be honest with Nicole about whaveter is really going on. For her part, Nicole is marching bravely (or blindly) onward in the hopes that the couple can make this work. Despite all the setbacks and warnings from friends, family, and even co-stars, she still believes she and Azan will get their happily ever after. We’re pretty sure this guy is a con-artist. Todd Chrisley has already proclaimed his innocence on social media. And now the embattled reality star has done so in a court of law. Earlier this week, the very rich USA Network personality was indicted , along with wife Julie, on multiple charges; foremost among them: Wire fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud and conspiracy to defraud the United States. Todd and Julie are accused of forging bank documents and not paying federal taxes over a period of multiple years. If convicted across the board, they could face 30 years in prison . On Wednesday afternoon, the reality stars pleaded not guilty to these tax evasion and other federal charges — and their lawyers claimed the counts stemmed from false allegations made by a former employee. This is the same allegation Todd wrote about in his lengthy self-defense on Monday. “I’ve never talked about this publicly before, but there’s been a cloud hanging over Julie and me and our entire family for the past seven years,” Todd said via Instagram this week, adding: “It all started back in 2012, when we discovered that a trusted employee of ours had been stealing from us big time… “I’m telling you all this because we have nothing to hide and have done nothing to be ashamed of. Not only do we know we’ve done nothing to be ashamed of. “Not only do we know we’ve done nothing wrong, but we’ve got a ton of hard evidence and a bunch of corroborating witnesses that prove it.” During the aforementioned hearing yesterday, a judge agreed to release the famous couple on a $100,000 unsecured bond , which means they don’t have to pay anything unless they fail to show up for court dates. Todd and Julie were also required to surrender their passports and are not allowed to travel outside of parts of Georgia and Tennessee without alerting their probation officers of their plans. According to the Associated Press, the bond conditions mentioned above were based on requests from the couple’s attorneys for travel permission so the family members can continue filming the reality television show . This would seem to contradict reports that USA will not be bringing Chrisley Knows Best back for another season. It has already aired for seven seasons and even spawned a spinoff for two of Todd and Julie’s kids. One of those kids, Savannah, is standing strongly behind her parents. ” ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged … the battle is not yours, but God’s. 2 Chronicles 20:15,’” the 22-year old wrote yesterday on her Instagram Story. Elsewhere, however, a U.S. Attorney has said the following: Todd and Julie Chrisley are charged not only with defrauding a number of banks by fraudulently obtaining millions of dollars in loans, but also with allegedly cheating taxpayers by actively evading paying federal taxes on the money they earned. Celebrities face the same justice that everyone does. These are serious federal charges and they will have their day in court. On the other legal side, the Chrisley lawyers ( Bruce H. Morris and Stephen Friedberg) have defended their well-known clients with a long statement of their own. This is what it says: For quite some time now, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia has been conducting an investigation of Todd and Julie Chrisley based for the most part on the demonstrably false allegations of a former officer of a company they owned jointly. We saw the results of this effort yesterday – an indictment against Todd, Julie, and their accountant that relies largely if not entirely on emails that we know Todd never sent but rather were fabricated by this former employee. This individual, identified in the indictment only as ‘Co-conspirator A,’ first approached federal authorities in 2012, claiming he had evidence that Todd had been trying to avoid paying his taxes. What the authorities didn’t know, at least initially, was that he had been fired by the Chrisleys after they discovered he had been falsifying documents, forging their signatures, bugging their home, and intimidating other employees into covering up what amounted to a multi-million-dollar embezzlement scheme. These and many other criminal misdeeds were detailed in a federal RICO suit that the Chrisleys filed against him in 2012. Ironically, it was this lawsuit that sent him to the U.S. Attorney’s office. He wasn’t looking for justice but for revenge and his “evidence” against Todd consisted mainly of falsified document Now, seven years later, the government has granted this individual immunity from prosecution for his own crimes and used his false allegations to bring an indictment against the Chrisley. We have no doubt that if this case ever reaches a courtroom, Todd and Julie will be completely exonerated. But in the meantime, their reputation will be sullied by a shamefully unjustified prosecution based on testimony of a dishonest source who has somehow managed to successfully mislead prosecutors. Hannah Brown was hoping to have other plans this past weekend. Maybe she and Jed Wyatt would be choosing a band for their wedding. Perhaps she and Tyler Cameron would be grabbing dinner and then seeing a movie. In the end, however, Brown ended up all alone on Friday night for two unfortunate reasons: FIRST, Wyatt turned out to be a rotten dirty liar who basically had a girlfriend back at home throughout his winning run on The Bachelorette Season 15. As a result, once she learned the truth, Hannah ended the pair’s engagement and sent Jed packing. SECOND, Brown was seemingly all set to date her runner-up pretty seriously, only to go on one date with Tyler and then watch as multiple celebrity gossip outlets detailed his subsequent plethora of dates with Gigi Hadid . Ouch. Very tough break for Brown on that front. So this all brings us back to Friday evening… The former Bachelorette lead opened up to fans about how she’s doing following her dating drama from the show, sitting down and revealing a lot about herself in a social media discussion. “Hey ya’ll,” Hannah began in a series of videos on Instagram Stories on Friday, August 9, adding to those checking out this footage: “Thought we could just cozy up and have a long overdue Friday night chat.” The 24-year old beauty queen then detailed how she needed to shower, but that’s the “least of her concerns right now.” “But what I want to talk about is some of ya’ll are crazy,” she continued. “And Jesus loves you, so I’m trying to love you. But I feel like a lot of people are looking into anything I do – you know, breathe or post, anything – and looking for a cryptic message in there of how I’m doing.” Hannah has been trying to make it clear for the past two weeks that she really is fine. She is glad she discovered the truth about Jed and moved on and it’s not as though she asked Tyler to marry her. She asked him to get a drink… the two did get a drink… and now they’re both single, so whatever. “We are trying to figure out how we feel,” she said a few days after the first Tyler-Gigi sighting went viral. “I have feelings. But I’m also single. And he’s single. And I wanna keep my options open.” All true. Yet it still must sting to see Tyler dating a celebrity, right? In such a public manner no less? Yes, Hannah now admits. “How am I doing? I’ll let you know,” she said on Friday, explaining: “I have moments of mad, glad, happy, sad. I don’t know if you know this, but I just went through a s–tshow. Some of you watched, I lived it.” There are obviously worse things in life than what Hannah has gone through — but we do appreciate her honesty and we do feel for her. This isn’t the first time that the Bachelorette beauty has spoken about the difficulties surrounding her season and beyond. Tyler and Catelynn Baltierra are raising two little kids at home. But these reality stars are actually the biological parents of three kids, having given up a daughter named Carly for adoption back when they were teeangers because they didn’t feel prepared for parenthood at the time. The Teen Mom OG cast members actually spent time with their first-born this summer in anticipation of Carly turning 10 years old. In celebration of this same occasion, Tyler and Catelynn opened way up about this daughter on Monday night’s emotional and revealing episode of this same MTV franchise. And we mean way up. They grew especially candid at times. When a producer asked Tyler what he’d tell someone who was thinking of placing their little boy or girl up for adoption, he said knowing other family is key. Does this mean he regrets the way things transpired with Carly? Tyler didn’t go that far, but he did say the following on air: “The only thing I would say, just make sure the family you want your baby to be raised with, you know very, very well. They’re your kid’s whole world,” he advised. Speaking of Carly’s adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, the veteran MTV personality added: “We know Brandon and Teresa were a little more reserved than we were. We weren’t raised around that kind of lifestyle, so we’re like, that’s how these well-off people act.” Tyler and Catelynn are raising five-year old Nova at the moment, along with little Vadea, who was born in February . “If we would have known what we know now, we might have been like, we want kinda people that are kinda just relaxed,” Tyler added. Tyler went on to acknowledge the situation was likely just as strange for the Davis family. Just consider: They thought they’d be adopting a little girl in privace; they couldn’t possibly have predicted Tyler and Catelynn would become legitimate reality stars and this situation would continue to be discussed all these years later. “Our situation’s super not normal,” Tyler said simply. Talking to the same producer, Catelynn explained that young Nova doesn’t fully comprehend the situation with Carly. “We don’t get into too much detail because she’s so young,” she said. “We just said she lives far away.” That’s fair, right? How else do you explain the concept of adoption to a toddler? When Carly is older, Catelynn said she and Tyler would “tell her the raw reality” of why they put her up for adoption in the first place. In a preview for next week, meanwhile, it looks like Carly and Nova will actually meet for the first time. “One thing we never thought about was explaining it to our children, especially our situation, we’re still together,” Tyler concluded.
