TMZ caught up with Dr. Drew and he made it very clear that there is nothing healthy about them hanging out and while Ariana’s show of support is admirable, it’s toxic. (Photo by M. Caulfield/WireImage) Stevie Wonder Questions Whether Kanye West Has Mourned Mother Kanye has been on some bs lately and even 68-year-old Stevie Wonder has had enough. Wonder brought up Kanye West without even being asked during an interview Thursday after a show at a West Hollywood club, according to Associated Press reports: “There’s been a lot of talk about what was said by Kanye,” Wonder said. “I want people to understand that the truth is the truth and a lie is a lie. “We all know that slavery was not a choice,” he went on. “So I just think that people need to understand that if you know your history, if you know the truth, you know that’s just foolishness.” Wonder spoke softly, not angrily, and said he also felt sympathy for West, especially over the rapper losing his mother, who died after having cosmetic surgery procedures in 2007. “You know he lost his mother, the horrible thing that happened,” Wonder said. “I don’t know if he had a chance to really mourn about all that.” There’s no doubt that Kanye is in a lot of pain from losing his mom, but that doesn’t diminish the damage he’s caused with his comments. Jurnee Smollett-Bell and her hubby Josiah Bell celebrated their son Hunter’s first birthday this weekend with a costume party where they asked their whole “tribe” to dress as their favorite musicians. Cute idea right? Josiah dressed up as Marvin Gaye, Jurnee was Stevie Wonder and Hunter was Michael Jackson. They killed it! Photographer Group / Splash News Kevin Hart’s Wife Sticking Out Marriage Despite Trust Issues Since Kevin Hart publicly apologized, word on the streets had been that he had the full support of his pregnant wife Eniko… But according to PEOPLE reports , while the couple appears as a united front, a source says Parrish still feels “let down” by Hart. “She can’t trust him.” But despite the current setback, Parrish is still standing by her wedding vows. “She is adamant about working through it,” adds the source. “She won’t give up on their marriage.” A second source previously told PEOPLE Hart is “embarrassed” by the scandal. “Kevin’s not doing too well,” said the source. “He’s really embarrassed that all of his personal business is out there for everyone to see.” He oughta be embarrassed… But do you think the embarrassment will be enough to stop him from doing it again?

Stars Raise Funds With “Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief” The big Hurricane Harvey and Irma relief telethon went down tonight, and stars came out en force to support the donation efforts. The telethon, organized by Bun B and Scooter Braun, featured performances from Stevie Wonder, Usher, and Tori Kelly among others, and appearances from stars like Beyonce, Oprah, Cher, and Jamie Foxx, with stars like Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled and Asahd (we’re assuming he didn’t do much speaking on the phone), Jared Leto, George Clooney, Justin Bieber, and pretty much anyone else from television, film, or music that you can think of. The benefit broadcasted live on every major network, with shows from Nashville, Los Angeles, New York and San Antonio. Celebs will be taking calls for the rest of the evening, but the charity event managed to raise more than $14 million in the hour it was live. Madonna Defends Prince Tribute, Sends Message to Critics

Madonna would like to apologize to anyone who has an issue with her tribute to Prince at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night. She understands your criticism and she didn’t mean to offend you and she knows she did not do the late musician proud and… … JUST KIDDING! Does that sound remotely like Madonna to you? Just hours after The Material Girl sang a version of “Nothing Compares 2 U” and then joined Steve Wonder for a duet of “Purple Rain,” BET called out Madonna for what that network deemed to be a terrible performance. Hyping its own Prince tribute at the BET Awards on June 16, this is what the network Tweeted: See the message on the bottom? Pretty harsh, huh? Even before Madonna took to the Billboard Music Awards stage, a change.org petition compiled over 8,000 signatures, urging almost any big name aside from this legendary artist to honor Prince, who died on April 21 at the age of 57. This, despite the fact that Madonna collaborated with Prince back in 1989 and even once dated the superstar. Madonna and Stevie Wonder Honor Prince at Billboard Music Awards What does Madonna have to say to these critics? “Deal with it,” she wrote last night on Instagram alongside a photo of her decked in an all-purple getup. Several hours later, she returned to elaborate via a second post: “Anyone who wants to do a tribute to Prince is welcome to. Whatever your age Gender or skin Color. If you loved him and he inspired you then show it!!!! I love Prince 4 ever.” Sounds pretty reasonable, doesn’t it? With so many awards shows on the docket, we can expect an endless number of Prince-themed performances over the next few months. Instead of criticizing the ones you don’t like, let’s all use them as an opportunity to remember the reason why they exist in the first place: Prince is dead. Prince is an icon.
