Thomas Markle to George Clooney: STFU About My Daughter!

Folks, we really didn’t think it was possible, but somehow, Meghan Markle’s awful family got even messier this week. And just when we were convinced the situation couldn’t get any more ridiculous, the Markles went ahead and dragged George Clooney into it. To be fair, Clooney willingly waded into this swamp when he compared Meghan to Princess Diana . But he probably never imagined his stern warning to the British press would lead to such a harsh rebuke from Meghan’s loser father and half-sister. First, Samantha Markle lashed out at Clooney : “Hey Looney Clooney! Your lawyer wife should have taught you not to make statements without full facts,” she tweeted. “I doubt #GeorgeClooney would ghost his mother for no legitimate reason. Be quiet Georgie.” Now, it’s Thomas’ turn, and as you may have guessed, his remarks are just as asinine. Speaking with TMZ, Tom blasted George’s comments as “frustrating” and “irresponsible.” The site reports that Thomas took Clooney’s remarks “as a dig” and encouraged the actor to “do a little research before he talks about Meghan and her father.” It seems the part of Clooney’s comments that really got under Thomas’ skin had to do with a letter the elder Markle received from Meghan, As you may have heard, Thomas sold Meghan’s letter to a tabloid, and the whole world wound up reading the Duchess of Sussex’s private comments. “I can’t tell you how frustrating that is, just seeing them broadcast a letter from a daughter to a father,” Clooney said during a recent press conference to promote his new series, Catch-22 . “She’s getting a raw deal there, and I think it’s irresponsible and I’m surprised by that.” As TMZ points out, it seems that George’s comments are aimed more at the press than at the Markles. Still, Thomas is the one that made the letter public, so it’s not hard to see how he might interpret the comment as shade. Along with his wife, Amal, Clooney attended Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry back in May. Sources say the couples are close, and Amal has helped Meghan acclimate to life in London. So it’s no surprise to see George sticking up for Meghan. Of course, you don’t need to be her BFF to know that Meg’s family sucks. George Clooney: When Is The Last Time He Has Seen His Kids Amid Marriage Drama?!

George Clooney has not been spotted publicly with his twins in almost 200 days, according to Radar .  While divorce rumors are all the buzz for the actor-lawyer duo , we notice that only Amal Clooney has been recently photographed with adorable Alexander and Ella.  An insider spills that “George and Amal have been arguing over their varying lifestyles.” You know, the one where the mom does all the work and the dad gets to travel for ‘work’ with his buddies.  While it’s hard to really know what’s going on in the very private Clooney household, there are some alarming signs that the two have had enough.  The couple – who wed on September 14, has not been photographed together since August 11.  Forgetting their fourth wedding anniversary and depriving us of their beautiful faces.  Amal even skipped out on George’s annual Halloween party for his Casamigos tequila in Las Vegas last year.  But, Amal has way more important things on her to-do list! Like attending the United Nations General Assembly or something like that.  “She’s all business, he’s all play,” says the insider. “They’re like oil and water. They don’t mix.”  While Amal would be home in New York working AND taking care of the kids, George would be partying it up in L.A with his friends. Let’s take a moment here to notice the transformation women have made since the ’50s stay-at-home’ mom type.   Not only is Amal a great mother, but she’s also a badass lawyer fighting for human rights – and does it all in style.  As much as I want George and Amal to mend their relationship (for the kids’ sake — and come on, who doesn’t like these two together?), we all know Amal will be just fine on her own if the situation calls for it.  And it sounds like that is a real possibility.  According to close insiders, the spouses have been living separate lives for a while now. Amal even “fled from the couple’s marital home in England and set herself up in a new hideaway on the idyllic Italian island of Sardinia with the 20-month-old twins,” Radar reports.  Not a bad runaway, I must admit.  While Amal is focusing on her children and staying out of the spotlight, George has been hanging out a lot with business partner Rande Gerber.  “George likes to be the life of the party. It helps take his mind off his troubles,” says the source. While the star may be a “no-show” dad lately, we don’t doubt his love for his two children.  When he became a first-time father he was 56-years-old. And he couldn’t stop expressing his love for Alexander and Ella.   “They’re born with personalities,” George shared. “Ella is very elegant and dainty and she has these big beautiful eyes; she looks like Amal.” And as for Alexander – “He’s just a thug, he’s a fat little boy, he laughs louder than everyone in the room; it’s the funniest thing.” And if there is a divorce, it’s no surprise that George intends to always be a part of his children’s lives.  “He knows the best lawyers in L.A. and he could arm himself with quite the legal team to keep his $520 million fortune and the twins,” says an insider from Radar .  Let’s just hope it doesn’t get that messy.  He knows who he would be going up against, right? George & Amal Clooney: Future Godparents to Meghan Markle’s Baby?!

As you’ve likely heard by now, Meghan Markle is pregnant with her first child. Meghan, of course, is in the unique position of having climbed the ladder from basic cable D-lister to international icon in record time, so the eyes of the world are squarely on her growing baby bump. Meghan has reached that level of fame at which people place bets on things like whether or not she’ll have twins and what the baby (or babies) will be named. One mystery that’s attracted a lot of attention in recent weeks is the question of who Meghan and Harry will choose as the baby’s godparents. Naturally, there’s been lots of speculation and a fair bit of wagering, with most concluding that the godparents will be celebrities. Meghan hob-nobs with the global elite these days, so it’s widely assumed that she and Harry will choose some sort of public figures as the godparents. And one couple has become the odds-on favorites to receive the honor. Sources close to Duke and Duchess of Sussex say that while they haven’t made the selection official yet, Harry and Meghan have decided to ask George and Amal Clooney to do the honors. “Amal and Meghan have been close for years, and Harry and George have become buddies because of that,” one insider tells the Daily Mail. “They’re much closer than the headlines let on.” While the offer hasn’t been extended yet, sources say George and Amal have heard the rumors and are looking forward to speaking with Harry and Meghan.  Apparently, George has even “told a couple of people he has a strong hunch.”  The Clooneys are parents of twins, and news that they’ll serve as godparents has bolstered rumors that Meghan is expecting twins as well. In fact, that’s now considered such a strong possibility that the Irish bookmakers who have hosted the majority of the wagering on Meghan’s pregnancy have stopped accepting bets that she’ll have twins. “An unprecedented amount of bets on Meghan and Harry to have twins has forced us to stop taking bets on the market altogether,” a spokesperson for Paddy Power told Us Weekly in a statement. “Since the day began, the stream of bets has led us to believe that perhaps the punters — or an insider source — knows something more than we do.” So if you can find a bookie who will let you bet that Meghan will have twins and the Clooneys will be the godparents, jump on that! So it’s perfect timing that a new movie from George Clooney called Suburbicon is causing quite a stir. The film takes place in a small suburban neighborhood that spirals into chaos when a Black family moves in. Inspired by real events, the film used the Meyers family experience to force white people to take a look into the mirror to deal with prejudice, white silence, and white violence. I talked to Clooney about these topics and more and asked him if he interacts with a Black person every day. His answer was shocking and real.

Stars Raise Funds With “Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief” The big Hurricane Harvey and Irma relief telethon went down tonight, and stars came out en force to support the donation efforts. The telethon, organized by Bun B and Scooter Braun, featured performances from Stevie Wonder, Usher, and Tori Kelly among others, and appearances from stars like Beyonce, Oprah, Cher, and Jamie Foxx, with stars like Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled and Asahd (we’re assuming he didn’t do much speaking on the phone), Jared Leto, George Clooney, Justin Bieber, and pretty much anyone else from television, film, or music that you can think of. The benefit broadcasted live on every major network, with shows from Nashville, Los Angeles, New York and San Antonio. Celebs will be taking calls for the rest of the evening, but the charity event managed to raise more than $14 million in the hour it was live. Charice Pempengco Changes Name, Comes Out as Transgender

Charice Pempengco has a major announcement to make. And it is this: The singer/actress is no longer known as Charice Pempengco. The Filipino star, who rose to fame in American for her role on Glee, says she nows goes by the name Jake Zyrus. This change is consistent with what the artist told Oprah Winfrey in an interview three years ago, during which she told the talk show host that her “soul is male.” “From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the love and respect,” Zyrus wrote on Instagram on Monday. “I love you back and I’m sending peace to everyone.” The transgender entertainer deleted all previous social media posts, marking this name change as a fresh start in his life. He added on Twitter, shortly after making the above statement: “My first tweet as Jake. Overwhelmed. Saw all your love comments and I’m so happy. Finally. I love you, everyone and see you soon.” Dubbed by Oprah as “the most talented girl in the world,” Zyrus became the first Asian solo singer in history to land in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 albums chart with the release of 2010’s “Charice,” It debuted at the time at number-eight. The rising star also made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and other daytime programs. On those platforms, she covered such hits as “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going,” “I Will Always Love You,” “I Have Nothing,” and “My Heart Will Go On.” She is now 25 years old. But at the age of 16, Zyrus appeared at Madison Square Garden to perform a duet of “Because You Loved Me” with idol Céline Dion. Pretty darn impressive, no? On Glee Season 2, Zyrus came on board as Sunshine Corazon, a talented singer and foreign exchange student who teamed up with New Directions and immediately established a rivalry with Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry. The character eventually joined the glee club Vocal Adrenaline and appeared in three episodes of the show. Along the way, the actor sang the songs “Telephone,” “Listen,’ and “All By Myself.” Zyrus came out as a lesbian in 2013. He then talked to Oprah once again, this time for a segment on Winfrey’s “Where Are They Now,” discussing rumors of a gender transition head-on. “I’m not going to go through that stage where I change everything,” Zyrus said at that time. “I’ll cut my hair and wear boy clothes and everything, but that’s all.” He added: “I knew when I was 5. Then, when I was 10, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s it, I’m gay.’” Thankfully, social media users have been nothing but supportive in light of this announcement. Kylie Jenner Goes Braless, Eats Pomegranate Seeds: Watch!

One a scale from Kylie Jenner's pomegranate seeds to  Bella Thorne's burger , how healthy is your 19-year-old celebrity food photoshoot? Actually, we kid. In part because there's no need to pit these two teens against each other. But in part because Kylie's series of braless Snapchat videos seem more like humorous outtakes, as you can see in the video below. But we should maybe clarify that when we say braless, we mean braless. Kylie's boobs can barely be contained in the best of circumstances. And this brown dress seems design to flash cleavage and to move and shimmer as her body shakes. (Which you can see plenty of in the video, when she keeps cracking up with laughter) But it doesn't seem to do anything to reign in her prodigious bust. And it doesn't exactly leave a lot to the imagination when her butt moves, either. Kylie's famously curvy butt puts others to shame. Nice try, Kendall . Now, usually when celebrities do product placement over Instagram … … And let's not pretend that we don't all know what this is. … … They show the label on the packages. Just like how you watch a movie and, like, two superheroes end up reducing the storefront of a Subway to rubble, but between a glimpse at the ingredients and a glimpse of the logo, you're suddenly craving a footlong. Well, it may be that, because of Kylie's status or whatever, she doesn't have to show the labels. Plus, if this is a paid placement, does POM really need to advertise? Like, I've never in my life eaten pomegranate seeds that weren't either from a little POM container or directly, manually extracted from a pomegranate with my own juice-stained fingers. Oh gosh, I'm doing Kylie's job for her, aren't I? Maybe. We do have to admit that it's possible that Kylie just really loves pomegranate seeds. She's said in the past that she eats them multiple times per day. They're supposed to be super good for you in a number of ways, though we're always leery of any of the promises of “superfoods.” Sometimes celebrities really just love food enough to share it. Remember Iskra Lawrence's favorite way to eat avocados ? But Kylie could also be, if not in so many words, asking for more free packages of pomegranate, or money to promote a specific brand. Now that Kim's moving in on the makeup business , a girl's got to make a living. Pomegranates generally bring three things to mind: -Persephone eating pomegranate seeds in the underworld -what a pain it is to pick the delicious seeds out of the fruit itself -pomegranate vodka, or just drinks that combine pomegranate drinks with vodka I mention that last one because Kylie will be 21 in 14 months . Can you imagine what kinds of product endorsements she could do, on social media and otherwise, when she's of drinking age? Any liquor companies that sell pomegranate flavored drinks should start negotiating for that right now. You only need to watch this video compilation to understand why:

George Clooney Sells Tequila Company For $1 BILLION

George Clooney turned 56 last month, and we think it’s a safe bet that most if not all of those years have been pretty damn good. There may have been some low points pre- ER when he was working for Roseanne and forced to compliment her ’80s wardrobe, but we’re guessing that on 95-99% of the mornings he’s gotten out of bed, George has looked and mirror and thought, Damn, it’s good to be The Cloon. (We have no real reason to believe he calls himself The Cloon, but George strikes us a man who wouldn’t want to waste a solid nickname.) We mention all this just to underscore how impressive it is that George continually manages to top himself in terms of baller status. It’s not like he set the bar low early on with a few decades living in his mom’s basement, ya know? As we approach the half way point of 2017, George has crossed off what were probably the only remaining items on his bucket list: Earlier this month Clooney became a dad , when his wife, Amal, gave birth to twins. And today, George became a billionaire. Okay, technically, George sold his tequila company, Casamigos, to liquor giant Diageo for $700 million with another $300 million to be paid out over the next ten years based on performance. But we’re not gonna split hairs with a dude who finalized a nine-figure business deal before we finished our breakfast Cheetos, ya know? Clooney founded Casamigos in 2013 with entertainment mogul and husband of Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber. It’s about time something went right for these guys, ya know? Casamigos (which means “house of friends” in Spanish) started out as a private tequila collective, producing small batches of booze to be gifter to family and friends. Yes, that’s the most baller thing you can find outside of Diddy video. And yes, George became a billionaire by accident because he clearly pledged his soul to the same demon who’s keeping Keith Richards alive. “If you asked us four years ago if we had a billion dollar company, I don’t think we would have said yes,” Clooney sad in a statement issued today. “This reflects Diageo’s belief in our company and our belief in Diageo. But we’re not going anywhere. We’ll still be very much a part of Casamigos. Starting with a shot tonight. Maybe two.” We’ll toast to that, George! Except we’ll be drinking some Tijuana-made rotgut with a worm in the bottom, because we have that pesky ” not being billionaires” thing to contend with. It’s getting seriously annoying, so if you wanted to help us out with a few mill, we wouldn’t yell at you.

Time Magazine SLAMMED for Sexist Coverage of Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney is expecting twins with George Clooney . She is also a human rights attorney who gave a speech this week at the UN headquarters, calling on the organization to investigate crimes committed by the Islamic State, including killings, forced conversions and rape. Not that TIME Magazine cared at all about that latter fact. As you're about to learn below, the publication Tweeted only about Amal's baby bump while she spoke on the floor of the United Nations, rightfully earning the ire of Internet users in the process. Matt Damon Almost Cried When George Clooney Revealed Baby News

Now that we’ve had a day to let the news soak in that George and Amal Clooney are expecting twins , the celebrities are in full force with their reactions to the baby news.  Clooney’s long-time friend, Matt Damon actually found out about the pregnancy long before it hit the media and he almost cried tears of joy.  “I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying. I was so happy for him,” the star told Entertainment Tonight Canada. “And I was like, ‘How far along is she?’ And he goes, ‘Eight weeks.’” However, Damon was quick to confirm to Clooney that he was a superstitious person.  “‘Are you out of your mind?! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t you know the 12-week rule?’ Like of course he doesn’t.” He continued, “‘Just shut up, man.’ And then four weeks later, I’m like, ‘We’re good right?’” Clooney answered, “We’re good.” Clooney revealing the news to Matt so quickly showed just how happy he was to be welcoming twins into the world.  Despite Matt worrying about superstition, he was quick to point out that he was super happy for his friend.  “So yeah, I’m thrilled for him. She’s amazing. He hit the jackpot. Just on every level. She is a remarkable woman.” “They’re gonna be great. They’re gonna be awesome parents. Those kids are lucky,” he added. George and Amal tied the knot in September 2014 in Venice, Italy. The couple already had a dog together and are said to be ecstatic about the news of them welcoming twins into the world.  It sure sounds like they are happy with each other and have a lot of support as they go through this exciting time in their lives.  What do you think about all this?
