Tom Brady: SKIPPING Patriots’ Visit With Donald Trump!

Early in Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, when most Americans believed the Screamin’ Tangerine had about as much chance of being elected as Lincoln Chafee, Tom Brady came out as one of Trump’s earliest celebrity supporters. Long before Scott Baio used his tremendous influence to help Trump win the White House, Brady displayed a “Make America Great Again” hat in full view of the Patriots’ locker room reporters. Brady later dialed back his support for Trump , saying that though he’s friends with the Donald, he doesn’t follow politics or endorse candidates. Now, it seems Brady is doubling down on his “Oh, this guy? I thought he came with you!” stance by bowing out of a team visit to the White House scheduled for later today. It’s a tradition for teams to meet with the president and pose for some photos after winning a championship. (Fittingly, the Cubs were the last team to visit Chicago sports fanatic Barack Obama in the White House.) But after the Patriots’ come-from-behind Super Bowl victory in February, several members of the team announced that they would not be meeting with Trump, due to objections to some of his more controversial policies. Today, Brady became the latest to join that list, but in statement issued this morning, he says he’s not skipping the visit for political reasons. The legendary quarterback’s statement reads: ” I am so happy and excited that our team is being honored at the White House today. Our team has accomplished something very special that we are all proud of and will be for years to come. “Thank you to the President for hosting this honorary celebration and for supporting our team for as long as I can remember. In light of some recent developments, I am unable to attend today’s ceremony, as I am attending to some personal family matters. “Hopefully, if we accomplish the goal of winning a championship in the future years, we will back on the South Lawn again soon. Have a great day! ” It’s an unexpected move, as Brady clearly has no issue with rigged outcomes or undeserved victories . We can hear the Donald now: “Tommy, I fix the Super Bowl for you, and this is how you repay me?” “You blamed it on family matters, but I know Steve Urkel when I see him, and you are no Urkel, my friend. Ryan Edwards: Is He on Drugs? Again?!

Ryan Edwards just can’t catch a break. Not because life’s been hard on him or anything — it’s because he’s always made terrible choices, he’s always had a terrible attitude, and he’s really just terrible in general . But still. Right now, Ryan is facing some criticism for something that could, for once, be totally out of his control. See that photo above? That’s one Ryan’s fiancee, Mackenzie Standifer , shared on Instagram recently. As you can see, he’s gained a little bit of weight and, at 27 years old, he’s already got a solid amount of grey in his hair. We saw a similar appearance in this week’s season premiere of Teen Mom OG . And, thanks to that appearance, and also his inability to be on time for anything ever, fans are concerned that he’s abusing drugs. Again. If you’ll remember, Ryan was acting pretty peculiar on the last season of Teen Mom OG, and he had a bad case of Crazy Eyes — and both of those things led people to believe he was high . People hopped on social media to theorize about Ryan’s possible drug problems, and now, people are doing the same. “Ryan Edwards is so strung out it’s so hard to watch,” one Twitter user wrote after Monday’s premiere. “Am I the only one that thinks Ryan is constantly high as sh-t on Teen Mom?” another asked. It looks like people are beginning to get concerned not only about possible drug use, but also about his general wellbeing. “Being totally serious,” one fan tweeted. “Ryan acts like someone with TBI = traumatic brain injury. He appears to have cognitive issues.” His appearance was so concerning that many people took to Mackenzie’s social media accounts to ask about him. And Mackenzie wasn’t having it. When one of her followers asked if he was “on something,” she replied “You are literally so rude. Did your mother not teach you manners?…. If you can’t say anything nice THEN DON’T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.” Someone tried to explain the rumors to her, writing “People think he is bc of his behavior on the show, like running an errand and it taking 5 hours, or how he sleeps constantly, and his eyes are always dilated.” But good ol’ Mackenzie responded with “You see a good 10 minutes of our lives on the show. I am pretty sure they’ve never shown any footage of sleeping in the bed, etc.” “Please stop making assumptions based off of 20 staged minutes of air time. That’s what no one realizes.” But what Mackenzie doesn’t realize is that even if we only see a tiny portion of Ryan’s life, we’ve seen it for years now. And it’s always really, really weird. So hey, maybe he’s using drugs, maybe he’s not. Maybe he has a health issue we don’t know anything about. But at the end of the day, Ryan is a bizarre human being whose eyes are constantly dilated. Serena William: Pregnant With First Child!

The tennis world should just go ahead and begin bracing itself for the arrival of another dominant phenom now, because Serena Williams is expecting her first child! Williams shared the unexpected news with fans moments ago, via a selfie that shows her looking remarkably fit (of course) more than halfway though her pregnancy: Serena posted the above pic to Snapchat this morning. Though she’s provided no elaboration and has yet to confirm the pregnancy via an official statement, the tennis icon’s “20 weeks” caption seems to be a pretty good indication that she’s knocked up. Not only is the kid destined to win the genetic lottery in terms of athletic ability, he’ll also be very well taken care of. Serena is one of the world’s top-earning athletes, and in December, she got engaged to Alexis Ohanian , co-founder of Reddit. We wonder if Alexis is a little pissed that Serena announced her pregnancy on Snapchat, rather than during an AMA on his site. Thus far, Serena is thoroughly crushing 2017 in terms of her personal life. Shortly after news of her engagement went public, photos of Serena’s engagement ring went viral. Fun fact: The rock on her finger is currently still bigger than her baby bump! But while Ohanian may pull in mega bucks in the future, Serena remains the breadwinner in the relationship by a colossal margin. Industry analysts believe Ohanian’s other projects (In addition to his Reddit, the 33-year-old has launched a venture capital firm and a travel search website.) may one day make him a billionaire. But currently, his net work is estimated at just $4.5 million. Serena, by contrast, is worth a cool $140 mill. But hey, who’s counting, right? The point is, Serena and Alexis’ baby won’t be wanting for much. Our congrats go out to Williams and Ohanian, but it’s important that we remember the many others who will benefit from this situation. Matt Damon Almost Cried When George Clooney Revealed Baby News

Now that we’ve had a day to let the news soak in that George and Amal Clooney are expecting twins , the celebrities are in full force with their reactions to the baby news.  Clooney’s long-time friend, Matt Damon actually found out about the pregnancy long before it hit the media and he almost cried tears of joy.  “I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying. I was so happy for him,” the star told Entertainment Tonight Canada. “And I was like, ‘How far along is she?’ And he goes, ‘Eight weeks.’” However, Damon was quick to confirm to Clooney that he was a superstitious person.  “‘Are you out of your mind?! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t you know the 12-week rule?’ Like of course he doesn’t.” He continued, “‘Just shut up, man.’ And then four weeks later, I’m like, ‘We’re good right?’” Clooney answered, “We’re good.” Clooney revealing the news to Matt so quickly showed just how happy he was to be welcoming twins into the world.  Despite Matt worrying about superstition, he was quick to point out that he was super happy for his friend.  “So yeah, I’m thrilled for him. She’s amazing. He hit the jackpot. Just on every level. She is a remarkable woman.” “They’re gonna be great. They’re gonna be awesome parents. Those kids are lucky,” he added. George and Amal tied the knot in September 2014 in Venice, Italy. The couple already had a dog together and are said to be ecstatic about the news of them welcoming twins into the world.  It sure sounds like they are happy with each other and have a lot of support as they go through this exciting time in their lives.  What do you think about all this? Zooey Deschanel: Pregnant with Baby #2!

The New Girl is ready to have a new girl. Or a new boy! That’s right, folks, Zooey Deschanel is pregnant! This piece of exciting news was broken by Too Fab , who confirms that the hilarious sitcom star will welcome her second child with husband Jacob Pechenik some time this year. The 37-year old actress Pechenik are already parents of 18-month-old daughter Elsie Otter. They surprised fans in August of 2015 when not only announced the birth of this child, but also that they were married. It turns out they exchanged vows in June of that year, without making a very big deal of it. The actress’ rep released a statement a few weeks later that revealed Pechenik’s new status in Deschanel’s life. “I am thrilled to confirm that Zooey Deschanel and her husband, Jacob Pechenik, are new parents to a beautiful healthy baby girl,” said the rep at the time. But while Deschanel is typically pretty quiet about her personal life, she couldn’t help but gush over little Elsie during a recent appearance on Ellen . “She is really special. She’s saying some words. She says a lot of words but she’s really obsessed with hats right now,” the star told Ellen DeGeneres, explaining: “My mom wears hats a lot and we had dinner with her and as soon as my mom came out, my daughter said, ‘hat! hat!'” Deschanel later told E! News’s Kristin Dos Santos that she hopes she is serving as a positive role model to her littie girl. “When you’re holding your baby, you’re like, ‘I don’t wanna go to work – this is like the best thing ever,'” she said. “But it’s nice, I think, having a little girl, she knows her mommy works and I think that’s a good thing.” As those who watch New Girl online know, Megan Fox joined the show while Zooey was on maternity leave the first time around. Her character’s absence was explained by sticking her in jury sequestration. It’s unclear at this point whether New Girl will return in 2017-2018, so there’s no need yet for writers to come up with another way to write Jess off for any extended period of time. But that’s a matter for another time. Katherine Heigl Welcomes Baby #3!

Katherine Heigl may have a reputation as someone who is difficult to work with on set. But she’s also gaining a reputation as one of Hollywood’s most prolific mothers. According to People Magazine, the former Grey’s Anatomy star and husband Josh Kelley welcomed a little boy into the world back on Tuesday, December 20. His name is Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. Heigl and Kelley were already parents to girl Adalaide, 4, and Naleigh, 8, when they were blessed in life for the third time. The actress broke her pregnancy news to People in June of last year. “The Kelley clan is thrilled to announce that we are expecting a third addition to our family,” the star told the publication at that time, adding:  “Naleigh and Adalaide could not be more excited to welcome their new sibling into the fold, and Josh and I are overflowing with joy and gratitude.” Heigl is 38 and Kelley is 36 and the couple resides in Utah. After leaving Grey’s Anatomy amidst some controversy (most notably slamming the show’s writers one year for not giving her Emmy-worth material), Heigl starred in a number of pretty successful films. There was Knocked Up and 27 Dresses, for example. She then tried a return to television last year via the NBC drama State of Affairs, but it only lasted one season. She will next be seen in early 2017, giving the TV thing another try with CBS’ legal program Doubt. “This is an incredibly exciting time for us filled with hope, anticipation and hormones. Well, only I’m filled with hormones, but everyone in the family gets to enjoy them,” Heigl joked to People last summer. “We couldn’t be more excited to be able to finally share this news with our fans, and are looking forward to continuing to share the journey with you all.” Heigl made a point over the past few months to keep fans apprised as to the state of her pregnancy, both via her Instagram account and personal home and lifestyle blog, Heavenly Days. Here is one photo of the actress in her third trimester: “It’s hard enough for me to get motivated to work out when I’m not pregnant but now that I am it’s 10 times harder,” she blogged in September, explaining further: “I’m not up for weight training, lengthy cardio workouts or any of those new and fashionable exercise classes. What I am up for is yoga! Good thing plenty of those classes exist. While Heigl is now a three-time mother, this actually marked her first birth. She had adopted her two daughters. “We were considering adoption again, fostering, or pregnancy if possible,” she said in June, adding: “Seeing as I have never been pregnant and as my OB/GYN reminded me last year, I’m of advanced maternal age, I wasn’t sure pregnancy was even in the cards for us.
