Kylie Jenner lived every parent’s worst nightmare over the weekend: Her child fell ill, and there was nothing Kylie could do about it. The 21-year old explained what happened in a lengthy and emotional Instagram Story post yesterday, frightening her followers at first but eventually reassuring them that little Stormi was okay.; “Blessed beyond words,” Jenner wrote at first, along with a snapshot of her backyard, adding mysteriously: “Thank you God. I believe in being a reflection of what you’d like to receive. If you want love, give love. If you want success, wish success.” As you might expect, such a message left fans wondering what the heck might have happened to elicit such a response from the reality star, who never really invokes God or religion very often. Jenner then added a photo of a sleeping Stormi, writing along with it a caption explaining the traumatic ordeal mother and daughter experienced over the weekend. “Spent the day in the hospital with my baby. She had an allergic reaction but is 100% okay now and we are home,” she explained. “Nothing else matters when these things happen. God bless all the moms with sick babies. I’m sending so much love and positive energy your way. We’re so very glad Stormi is back at home now and, by the looks of her, resting comfortably and happily. This is the second time in two months that a Kardashian/Jenner young one has been hospitalised due to an allergic reaction. Back in late April, Kim’s son Saint West was rushed to the ER during a family vacation to Palm Springs. Thankfully, he, too, is doing just fine now. Jenenr, meanwhile, may or may not elope with Travis Scott at some point this summer. But she is definitely totally smitten with her 16-month old infant. “I always knew I wanted to be a young mother,” Jenner told Interview Germany in March, adding in more detail: “I remember people used to ask, ‘Are you ready for this?’ “And I always knew I was ready but you don’t know what that love and that feeling is like until after you have a child, but I feel like I was definitely made for this and she has changed my life for the better.” How would Kylie say she has changed overall as a result of delivering Stormi? “The way that I look at things is a lot more positive and I really feel like my life didn’t start until I had her,” she told this same magazine. Sad news from the world of famous cats today, as the number of world-renowned felines has officially dropped to zero. Yes, we regret to inform you that the internet legend known as Grumpy Cat has passed away at the age of 7. The sad news was confirmed this morning by Grumpy’s representatives. (We hesitate to use the word “owner,” as anyone who shares a living space with a cat knows who’s really in charge in that scenario.) “We are unimaginably heartbroken to announce the loss of our beloved Grumpy Cat,” began the statement issued this morning from the official Grumpy Cat Twitter account. “Despite care from top professionals, as well as from her very loving family, Grumpy encountered complications from a recent urinary tract infection that unfortunately became too tough for her to overcome,” the statement continued. “She passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, May 14, at home in the arms of her mommy, Tabatha. “Besides being our baby and a cherished member of the family, Grumpy Cat has helped millions of people smile all around the world — even when times were tough. Her spirit will continue to live on through her fans everywhere,” the cat’s family concluded. Grumpy, whose real name was — *respectful facepalm on behalf of the departed* — Tardar Sauce, suffered from feline dwarfism, an extremely rare condition. She first rose to fame when a member of Tabatha’s family posted a pic of her on Reddit. Redditors refused to believe the pics were unretouched; more photos were posted as evidence, and with that, an internet legend was born. Grumpy eventually proved more profitable — and more marketable — than social media icons as Star Wars Kid or Salt Bae. During her short time on this planet, she spawned about a million memes and hobnobbed with countless celebrities . Grumpy appeared at events such as South by Southwest festival in Austin, where fans lined up for hours to meet the famous furball — who was, of course, completely indifferent to their presence. At the height of her fame, Grumpy inspired caffeinated beverages based on her ornery visage, as well as a Christmas movie in which she made her acting debut. In the age of Jimmy Fallon, James Corden, and Ellen DeGeneres, Grumpy offered a welcome alternative to all that bubbly positivity. Source: Eli Joshua Adé/ Universal Pictures / Eli Joshua Adé/ Universal Pictures Marsai Martin Talks Producing And Starring In Upcoming Universal Pictures Film ‘Little’ If you’ve already seen the trailer for the new film ‘Little’ which was released today you probably have a good idea of just how incredible leading lady Marsai Martin is — but BOSSIP had the opportunity to go on set with the actress — who at only 14 is also EXECUTIVE PRODUCING the film along with her father Josh Martin and Regina Hall. It turns out that Martin came up with the concept when she was just ten-years-old, and the actress, along with her parents, brought the idea to “blackish” creator Kenya Barris (who along with Will Packer and James Lopez, is also producing the movie). Marsai teased the coming trailer earlier this week on Instagram We found out on set just how strategic Martin is, as she described how it all came about: “I was talking to Daddy and Mommy about some of their favorite movies when they were growing up and one of mine was ‘BIG’ with Tom Hanks,” Martin told BOSSIP and other media during the set visit last fall. “So that’s really how the idea was brought out, that’s where it all started and we started brainstorming, to see how we could create a black girl magic situation.” After coming up with the basic outline the Martins wasted no time trying to bring their daughter’s concept to life. “At the Season 1 of “blackISH,” I think it was the season finale, dad went to Kenya like ‘Marsai has this dope idea,’” the actress recalled. “Kenya ended up liking it and right after was calling Will [Packer] like ‘Yo… Diane from “blackish” has a dope idea.” After that we had a meeting with him and James [Lopez] and after that he bought it and after that we went to Universal and they bought it and it wasn’t long before we shot it. I mean like, three years?” “I’m very grateful and very honored that they were just like saying yes to this 10-year-old who just popped out with this blazer and all of these things,” Martin said. “They could have said no but they actually believed in me and the story we wanted to tell.” The young starlet says she has aspirations of some day hosting “SNL” or the “Emmy’s” and experiencing the kind of success that she could retire at 18. “But I won’t!” Marsai promised. Well — if the Academy is listening they may have their perfect host right here. In the meantime, Martin’s father is focused on making sure his daughter is just as successful at life as she is the film industry. “One of the things we teach her is to live in the moment,” Josh Martin said of his teenage daughter. “Live in your moment, you don’t have to worry about what two years from now looks like. Live in your now and enjoy it! There’s no rush to grow up. Don’t start thinking too far ahead because life happens.” Marsai’s early success is no surprise to her father, who says by the age of two she was an avid film buff, enjoying projects like ‘Lackawanna Blues’ and the Ray Charles biopic ‘Ray,’ which she could mimic without actually watching. “It would be playing behind her on a screen and she would be mirroring all the moves. It was funny, she became this family party favor, grandparents would be sippin’ on something and be like ‘Look, look, do the thing…’” Josh Martin recalled. “We kinda stumbled up on it. All of this just fell into place and I’m glad it did because she really loves it.” One particular angle of ‘Little’ that hit particularly close to home was the underlying message about bullying that’s at the core of the storyline. “Jordan when she’s 13-years-old, she’s just like this sweet quirky girl, doesn’t care what anyone thinks and the more she grows up she realizes ‘Oh snap, people are bullying me, what can I do to stop this?” Marsai says. “So she started bullying them first. She thought that was the solution for people to stop messing with her.” Martin’s dad told BOSSIP that in this era of social media, he’s particularly proud that his daughter hasn’t allowed online bullying to affect her at all. “I can tell you this, the social media has been a gift and a curse, because before she was fully engaged in being this Hollywood actress she was following people like Beyoncé, people she liked, YouTubers, then she got to read comments and see a lot of people just wanted to see a reaction so she got to see how a lot of how social media worked and what she wanted her voice to be on social media and when she saw something she knew not to react. One of the things we taught her was not to look at the comments. One day somebody had said something to Skai Jackson and Skai responded and the only thing the person said was, “Oh my God, Skai replied to me.” And she was like “Oh, this is how it works?” She’s a really big fan of Beyoncé and she used to read a lot of the comments that people would leave about Beyoncé and she saw she wouldn’t give them any attention, I also make sure my presence is felt wherever she is, I let it be known she has a mother and a father and I will make a scene because I don’t care.” Well her film beginnings may be ‘LITTLE’ but it’s clear there are big things to come in the future for Marsai and it sounds like she’s got a great team behind her — both professional and family. The blessed development took place on Saturday, January 5, as Denna welcomed a baby boy alongside husband Chris Buckner. This is what she wrote on Facebook as confirmation: Our Little Man has finally arrived. Christopher John Buckner (CJ) born January 5th at 4:41 pm at a whopping 20.5 inches..6 Lb 8.5 ounces. Uhg mommy and daddy love you so much CJ .. you’re our everything As you can see above and below, Cortese provided followers with many precious photos of young CJ as well. “I never thought i could love Chris anymore than i did until i saw him hold CJ,” added Deena as a nod to both her husband and her son on Instagram. The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast member exchanged vows with in October of 2017 when the two got married at a winery in New Jersey. She announced her pregnancy in July. “Chris and I Decided to wait until we were ready to spill the beans!” she wrote at the time, adding: “Now that we are safely into our second trimester.. us and our little monkey are ready to tell the world Our little family is growing! “We have a sweet little boy on the way! We Are truly blessed and our hearts are filled with so much joy and happiness. December can’t come soon enough! “Daddy and Mommy can’t wait to meet you Christopher John you are going to be the most spoiled little boy ever!!!!” Deena previously told Us Weekly that she’d be “fine” with two kids, but that she would have a trio in her ideal universe.
