The Billboard Music Awards happened, I wasn’t made aware of this because I don’t keep track of bullshit award shows that don’t matter, but that are designed to stroke the egos of these already famous scammers, but more importantly hype up Billboard magazine as a relevant tracking system, so that they can sell ads to partners and make a lot of money off the backs of these celebs who are only there for their egos. It’s a pretty disgusting thing that happens, not to mention billboard tracks the shittiest of music, the least artistic merit, but the most commercial merit, and to me that is a fucking fail…I want real artistry, not shit that has big marketing hype behind it…so fuck em all…thank god Award shows are on the outs…and here are the sluts with their tits out trying to make the most of their public appearance..TRASH. Cardi B Makes History With Her Best Rap Album Win At The 2019 Grammys

Source: Kevin Winter / Getty Rap’s Cinderella  Cardi  B beat out a tough Best Rap Album crowd to take home the gramophone on Sunday night and in the process, she made a little bit of history too. With her win, Cardi B is the first solo female rapper to ever take home the crown of Best Rap Album. The only other woman to have claimed to the award is  Lauryn Hill who won as a member of  The Fugees with  The Score in 1997. The union of Hill and Cardi seems to be coming up plenty over the last year and a half. Like Hill, Cardi is the only other female rapper to have a solo No. 1 song on the Billboard chart as “Bodak Yellow” assumed the top spot in 2017 as “Doo Wop (That Thing)” did in 1998. The Grammys created the Best Rap Album category in 1995 with  Naughty By Nature taking home the initial award. The category has been dominated by  Eminem and  Kanye West.  Em has six wins in the category and four of Kanye’s first five albums, beginning with  The College Dropout  in 2005 have won the most Best Rap Album Grammys. Congrats to Cardi on the history-making win! Guwop stopped by The Rickey Smiley Morning Show , and the question of the Detroit fire spitter being at the top of the Rap game was brought up he was utterly disgusted at the mere thought. “You gotta come up with a better one. That ain’t even worth … ’cause I ain’t playin’ him in my car. You playin’ him in yours? You slidin’ around playin’ Eminem in your car with your old lady? Dolo play Eminem, just metaphors. Marshall Mathers latest album, Kamikaze upon its release landed at number one on the Billboard 200 moving 434,000 records in its first week. Gucci’s most recent effort Evil Genius  is currently projected to sell 54,000 to 59,000 albums. His project before that  El Gato: The Human Glacier  released back in 2017 peaked at No.28 on Billboard. But based on Twitter this is a discussion that needed to happen, and most people are riding with the head of 1017 Records. Do you agree with Gucci? King Of R&BeeEEeeE: 10 R&B Singers That Give Jacquees A Run For His Money

Source: Hot 1079 Jacquees started a massive social media storm when he proclaimed himself the R&B King of his generation. Over the weekend, he took to Instagram to hand himself the title. “I just want to let everybody know that I’m the king of R&B right now,” he exclaimed. “For this generation. I understand who done came and who done did that but now it’s my time. Jacquees, the king of R&B. You just heard me say it.” Jacquees, whose most popular song is a cover of Ella Mai, released his debut album this year. Prior to that, he’s been known for his mixtapes and cover songs that he’s dubbed as “Quemixes”. Though he’s seen some moderate success, is peaking at #28 on the Billboard’s R&B chart good enough to call himself the king? It seems the young newcomer ruffled a few feathers with his self appointed title. One of the notably bothered was J. Holiday, who no one has heard from since “Bed” in 2007. J. Holiday created an Instagram video to name the real kings of R&B, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Chris Brown, himself and some random person we’ve never seen before. But that wasn’t the best part of his video, however. The highlight was Holiday being mistaken for a valet driver — because, why not?   While J. Holiday does have some cuts under his belt and Jacquees has potential, neither one of these guys are close to being the king of R&B today. Not sure how she got that considering there are many other chicks out there way more deserving of this title. LEna Dunham on Instagram is a terrifying thing… She posted some attention seeking nudity, because she’s a sick fuck who likes getting naked for a large audience, in what I assume is her performing arts, or rich kid craving attention and since she’s too lazy to bother getting fit, she does it based on how she looks in all its laziness, and it gets celebrated and viewed as empowerment, despite being disturbing… So anytime she wants some praise, she turns off the comments on her social media, and lives in this sheltered curated world filled with people sucking up and feeding her ego… This picture was posted with the caption about birthing hips being ironic when you don’t have a uterus, when clearly her birthing hips are her being overweight…and disgusting..and the no uterus, a punchline in her jokes, something she is proud of because it gives her a new angle to annoy us with….that I find offensive. I get it, Toxic Masculinity, who am I to understand the dynamic or feelings of a woman who has had a hysterectomy…but not everyone is a rich kid who can freeze their eggs and hire a mexican to house their baby…and a lot of people who probably didn’t want to lose a uterus or volunteer to lose their uterus should find it offensive. I get it, authenticity, being your true self, sharing your real raw story that shapes you nonsense…but it’s fucking insensitive to them…and insensitive to all of us who don’t want to see this dog shit. Historic Philadelphia Burial Site Under Playground To Honor 5,000 Freed Slaves With New Memorial

Markus Scholz/picture alliance via Getty Images Philadelphia Burial Site To Honor Freed Slaves With Memorial Philadelphia’s Weccacoe Playground will soon be transformed into a historic memorial in honor of thousands of freed slaves. Discovered back in 2008 by historian Terry Buckalew, the community playground originally served as an African American Burial Ground for members of the Mother Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church — which was purchased by the church in 1810. Archaeologists believe that an estimated 5,000 freed black slaves are buried 18 inches beneath the concrete, according to  Associated Press . Now, after years of deliberating amongst community members, city officials announced plans last month to renovate a section of the playground into the Bethel Burying Ground Historic Site. “This is an opportunity to fix something that fell off of our radar, and it’s a teachable moment for these young children,” Leslie Patterson-Tyler tells AP . “It’s already a gathering place, so let’s continue to gather in this place and talk about what was.” Construction of the historical site — which will be located in Philly’s Queen Village neighborhood — will require the dismantling of a “well-used” community center to make way for the memorial. Rev. Mark Tyler went on to note that he hopes the Bethel Burying Ground Historic Site will inspire thought-provoking dialogue amongst all parents and children. “I think that would be a wonderful way to honor the ancestors who are buried there,” he said to the Associated Press . “To help these children write a new and better American story.”

Records On Records: Drake’s ‘Scorpion’ Becomes The First Album To Hit 1 Billion Streams In A Week

WENN.com Drake Breaks Even More Records With Scorpion Drake’s  latest album has yet another accomplishment under its belt. Scorpion has now become the first album to surpass 1 billion streams worldwide across all streaming platforms in one week, according to reports from  Billboard . Post Malone’s album  B eerbongs  & Bentleys  previously owned the worldwide record with almost 700 million streams from April 27 to May 3–but Drake has officially taken the crown. The double album broke another one of Post Malone’s records (431.3 million) by accumulating over 750 million streams in the U.S. in its first week.  Those numbers should almost undoubtedly set  Scorpion  up to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with an estimated 700 equivalent album units. Though those number are less than  Views ‘ debut week, they’re still good enough to be the biggest for any album in 2018. Additionally, the album’s first single, “God’s Plan” has also become the most-streamed song of the year, earning 1.121 billion streams—making it the only song to top a billion streams in 2018. Congrats to Drake on breaking records literally every day.
