Def Jam describes the project as the rapper’s “most personal, most lyrical, most soulful to date,” that will focus on the trope that the only way inner-city youth can get out of the hood is either by hooping or rapping hence the title Rap or Go To The League . 2 Chainz is the perfect person to tell this story on wax because he was also a pretty good basketball player earning a full ride to Alabama State University and graduating at the top of his class before hopping in recording booths. Rap or Go To The League is his latest album since his well-received platinum LP Pretty Girls Like Trap Music that featured hits like “4 AM” featuring Travis Scott, the Ty Dolla $ign, Trey Songz and Jhene Aiko assisted track “It’s A Vibe” just to a name a few. 21 Savage has had an interesting weekend. He was detained by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement for allegedly being a U.K resident while living in the United States. The rapper has always been thought to be a Atlanta native but now the United States is saying otherwise. 21 An ICE spokesperson said that he was actually from the U.K. and falsified his entire public persona. Now, the rapper’s alleged birth certificate has emerged which indicates that he was indeed born in the U.K. The Daily Mail Online published a photo of 21 Savage’s birth certificate earlier today. The document confirms that he was born at Newham Hospital in East London. The outlet also said that the birth certificate confirmed that 21 Savage lived in England for 12 years before he moved to Atlanta with his mother. Here’s a look at the alleged certificate: According to the Daily Mail the rapper has a set of twin sisters in London. The twins allegedly deleted all their pictures of their “brother” in fear of him being deported. His lawyers believe that ICE is attempting to “unnecessarily punish him.” He also claimed ICE is trying “to intimidate him into giving up his right to fight to remain in the United States.”

Leslie Holden (also known as Kiyomi Leslie), Bow Wow’s longtime on-and-off again girlfriend, called Atlanta Police Department around 4 am Saturday to report Bow Wow for assault . According to TMZ, she told officers that “the whole fight started when they got home from a party,” and claimed that Bow Wow was pissed when he saw her talking with another guy. In the police report, Leslie says Bow Wow “hit her in the head, pulled her by the hair, dragged her from her bedroom and told her to get the hell out.” Bow Wow did admit to being upset about the other guy and told the cops that she had “disrespected him” by being all over another “man’s body.” He also says that Leslie called him a “bitch ass n***a” when he brought up her behavior at the party. He reportedly told her to get out and put her bags by the door. And that is when things began to spiral… Leslie reacted to Bow Wow’s “kick out” by grabbing a floor lamp and throwing it at him. He says she missed with the lamp, but in his mugshot, you can visibly see deep scratches all over the rapper’s face. An officer shared that he did see a lamp on the ground when he entered the bedroom and he also noticed red marks on Leslie’s fingers, as well as broken fingernails. Busted? They were BOTH arrested and charged with “battery” following the incident. According to police records, the rapper was released on an $8,000 bond. We have no word on whether Leslie has been released yet. Police reported that there were “minor visible injuries” to both, and were unable to tell who the primary aggressor was. Bow Wow’s rep has since issued an in-depth statement describing Leslie as an “out of control intoxicated female” who “beat him with a lamp, bit him on his side, and spit on him while Bow Wow continually made efforts to avoid her.” In addition to the evidence of the scars on Bow Wow’s face and the marks on Leslie’s fingers, there were also two witnesses who backed up Bow Wow’s side of the story, as stated by Starcasm . TMZ reports that the rapper who was arrested in November on racketeering and firearm charges has pleaded guilty to EIGHT counts. The counts include; multiple counts of racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offenses, and narcotics trafficking. Tekashi did not plead guilty however to a charge involving an April 3, 2018 robbery of rivals of the Nine Trey gang. As previously r eported prosecutors claimed that he fired a gun while committing a crime and the charge for that carries a possible life sentence with a mandatory minimum of 25 years served. They alleged that he and his manager Shottie and two other Blood Gang members robbed rival gang members at gunpoint. In the newly unsealed court docs, prosecutors claim the rapper was involved in dealing heroin, fentanyl, ecstasy, amphetamines, and marijuana, and conspired multiple acts of murder, robbery, and extortion. If you’re curious about the “Dummy Boy’s” fate, you’ll have to wait—he won’t be sentenced until January 2020. The DailyNews reports however that he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 47 years in prison, but could get less for his cooperation. “In the fall of 2017, I met and joined the Nine Trey Blood Gang. As a member of Nine Trey, the enterprise engaged in such activities including shooting at people, robbing people, and at times drug trafficking,” said Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez. He said that on March 20, 2018 he “helped members of NineTrey attempt to kill a rival gang member.” The following month he helped fellow gangsters rob a rival, he said. WELP, so much for that.
