Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty Just before releasing his “Middle Child” video, J. Cole dropped some details about Dreamville’s forthcoming Revenge of The Dreamers III compilation album. In a Youtube conversation with fans, Cole revealed he hopes to release the project by April. “ROTD is being finished right now, post-production sh*t,” he said, according to screenshots posted by VIBE . “Tracking out songs, sequencing then editing, then we gotta mix. We’re shooting for April.” He also responded to a fan’s question about why he decided to drop “Middle Child” as a single . “Good question,” he said. “Past 3 albums I dropped with no single. Haven’t dropped a real single since Born Sinner . The way I was doing it was getting too stale for me, I had to get out my comfort zone.” If you missed Cole’s new visual, watch that here . Tuesday (Feb.19) Def Jam announced the two will come together with the hoop star serving as A&R for the rapper formerly known as Titty Boi’s 5th studio album, Rap or Go To The League. A&R Bron as he is affectionately known as now due to his social clips of himself vibing out to the latest Hip-Hop releases was tapped by 2 Chainz to curate the album due out March 1. Def Jam describes the project as the rapper’s “most personal, most lyrical, most soulful to date,” that will focus on the trope that the only way inner-city youth can get out of the hood is either by hooping or rapping hence the title Rap or Go To The League . 2 Chainz is the perfect person to tell this story on wax because he was also a pretty good basketball player earning a full ride to Alabama State University and graduating at the top of his class before hopping in recording booths. Rap or Go To The League is his latest album since his well-received platinum LP Pretty Girls Like Trap Music that featured hits like “4 AM” featuring Travis Scott, the Ty Dolla $ign, Trey Songz and Jhene Aiko assisted track “It’s A Vibe” just to a name a few. Travis Scott Performs “Stop Trying To Be God” And “No Bystanders” At 2019 Grammy Awards [VIDEO]

Performing with  Earth, Wind And Fire  and  James Blake , Scott began singing on the stairs for the back half of “Stop Trying To Be God” from  Astroworld before setting up his own version of Thunderdome for the  Swae Lee featured “No Bystanders.” The fun part about Travis’ performance? He brought his own crowd of fans to the stage to rock out, including a customary stage dive to boot. Watch the full performance below. Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty Cardi B Served Lawsuit On The Set Of Her Netflix Series Cardi B  ended up getting served with a lawsuit as she walked onto the set of her new Netflix series on Wednesday night, according to reports from  The Blast  . In the video captured by The Blast on Wednesday, Cardi is seen walking onto the set of Netflix’s  Rhythm + Flow– a music competition series where she will serve as one of the judges. On her way walking onto the set, things were all lighthearted as she joked with photographers, but as she approaches the door to the venue, a process server is seen dropping the papers in front Cardi. She ultimately ignored them. According to the site, the legal docs stem a 2018 Met Gala incident that resulted in one man getting assaulted. A then-pregnant Cardi and husband Offset were at The Mark Hotel in New York City, when the alleged victim, Giovanni Arnold, reportedly tried to get an autograph. Arnold alleges that instead of getting an autograph, he was verbally assaulted by the couple before being physically attacked by members of their security team. He filed a lawsuit against both Cardi and Offset days later, but apparently, it has been a bit of a process to serve them. According to reports from The Blast , the alleged victim waited to serve Cardi since she was seven months pregnant at the time and, “out of respect and consideration for her and her baby’s wellbeing…I chose not to immediately serve” them. A photographer captured Bey and Jay enjoying some quality time with Blue, the twins Rumi and Sir and family members in Prospect Park. According to the Daily Mail , the outing was to honor Jay-Z’s grandmother, Hattie White, with her own bench in the park. The inscription on the seat reportedly reads: “Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago. With Love and Admiration to our root, Hattie White.” How sweet!
