Source: Starz / Power Previously on Power , James’ political career gets the jump start it needs when Lorette offers him the opportunity to be her Lieutenant Governor. Tommy delivers Cash to his dead girlfriend’s ex, Kadeem, and promises to get revenge in her name. Dre thinks his habitual snitching is putting him in prime position to take Tommy’s spot as Jason’s new distro. The problem with that is Ghost killed Jason despite Tommy almost setting him up for failure. As a bonus, Ghost also managed to set it up to make it look like it was Dre that killed Jason. When it comes to his family, Ghost and his relationships with his ex-wife Tasha and son Riq have gotten significantly worse. It’s so bad, in fact, that after he put his hands on her and hilariously snuffed her, Tasha snitched on him to Blanca and Saxe telling them he killed Terry Silver. All of these events lead up to the mid-season finale of Power’s 6th and final season. Operation No One Can Stop Me Is A Go Source: Starz / Power J ames is still in a bit of a funk after his big argument with his son, where Riq warned him he would kill him if he put his hands on his mother again. Waking up in his hotel room, James decides to call Riq and reach out to him following their contentious conversation and wants to tell him face-to-face things only he could say to him. After he hangs up, he is immediately contacted by Ramona, and she tells him to turn on the television. He is greeted with the great news that Lorette will be adding him to the ticket. He is left speechless after Ramona tells him his whole life is about to change, he snaps back to reality telling Ramona thank you and ending the call. Meanwhile, Ghost’s other nemesis not named Tommy, Cooper Saxe, despite getting the boot, is still on a mission to put Ghost in jail for good. He decides to visit his old place of employment to talk to Warner about the case he is no longer a part of much to the dismay of his former boss. Saxe asks Warner if he has searched James’ hotel room, and Warner is puzzled by the question. We all know Saxe is pushing for the search because he gave Dre the cellphone he lifted from Terry Silver’s car to plant in Ghost’s room. Source: Starz / Power Saxe keeps pushing the idea that Ghost killed LaKeisha Grant (he didn’t), but Warner knows that isn’t true because of his alibi of being with Rashad Tate that night checking out. Saxe, who just can’t take a hint, then suggests that Ghost probably hired someone to kill LaKeisha. Warner has heard enough and tells Saxe that he will not be opening another investigation into Ghost, and no one will be searching his hotel. We check back in with James, and he is having celebratory brunch with Lorette and Ramona following the announcement of him joining the ticket. Lorette and Ramona inform James they did their opposition research on him and that his background check panned out. When it comes his time selling drugs as a youth, Lorette says him opening the Queens Child Project will counteract that narrative easily. Source: Starz / Power There is just one problem with that, Rashad in a bitter rage, had all of the work permits on the project revoked pretty much sinking the whole thing. Lorette is not too happy to hear that, and she tells James that he has to find a new site for the QCP. If he doesn’t make it happen that day, she will find a replacement for him and that Rashad Tate is on the top of her list to be her Lieutenant Governor. James being a quick thinker tells Ramona there is another site he can use to build the QCP, but it’s somewhere he didn’t really want to go back to. The place James had in mind happens to be the bar his dad and his Uncle Gabe owns in the old neighborhood. When James walks in, he is greeted by his Uncle and James make his pitch and offer, but Uncle Gabe says he has no intention of selling the bar. Source: Starz / Power James breaks down what he intends to do with the site, explaining he wants it to be a place where kids can play music and recite poetry and telling Uncle Gabe that his late daughter would have loved it because she wanted to be a singer. After his story, his Uncle stops pretending that he doesn’t recognize him and the two embrace. Uncle Gabe tells James that his father would be proud to know that his son came back to buy the bar. Uncle Gabe makes Ghost promise to make the place great. Blanca Is Starting To Sound Like Saxe Source: Starz / Power B lanca is next to stop by Warner’s office to talk about Ghost. After having to deal with Saxe, he is really not in the mood to have the same conversation again, but he entertains it. Blanca breaks down all of the new information she has, including her believing that Ghost killed Terry Silver. After she breaks down every bit of evidence and motives she has linking James to the crime, Warner has a counterargument that pretty much would dismiss her case if she tried to bring it into a court. Blanca points out that she doesn’t want to see him in jail, well not at the moment, but instead, she just wants a search warrant to search his hotel room. Warner tells her she has enough evidence to get one and to go knock herself out. Before she leaves the office, Warner tells Blanca that she is starting to sound like Saxe and that it’s not a compliment in the least bit. Speaking of Saxe, Blanca links up with her unlikely partner, and they pay a visit to Rasha Tate’s campaign headquarters. Before they question Tate, Blanca expresses her frustration with Saxe paying Warner an unsolicited visit cause he could have ruined the case. When they finally speak to Tate, he brushes them off, confusing them for reporters. When Blanca identifies themselves as a part of an FBI/DOJ task force investigating James St. Patrick, they grab Tate’s attention immediately. Source: Starz / Power Tate’s information wasn’t immediately helpful, but when Saxe started adding input that he shouldn’t have like Terry Silver being murdered and pointing out the possibility of James heading to Albany instead of him Tate’s memory starts working again. Rashad plays ball and lies about James telling him that he was upset learning about his wife’s relationship with Silver. Blanca is not happy to know that the information that just got is based on lies and that if she hands this into a judge and gets caught, her career could be over. Saxe, who doesn’t play by the rules anyway, doesn’t care, but they now have enough evidence to get the search warrant they need to get in James’ hotel room. We zap back to Ghost, who, after convincing Uncle Gabe to sell the property to him, now needs someone to sign on with him. He reaches out to his “good friend” Simon Stern for that help. Source: Starz / Power It doesn’t take much to get Stern on board either, all James has to do is recommit to their initial agreement, and he does so promising Stern even more goodwill is coming his way when he gets to Albany and that Stern was right about Tate. James’ push for political power is back on track. Ghost Moves On From Angela & Tasha…Finally Source: Starz / Power W ith the new site for the QCP secure, Ghost heads back to his hotel room but has no idea he is being watched by someone. He immediately texts Ramona telling her to meet him at Truth so he can discuss with her the good news. Once he pressed send, he gets a visit from the dead love of his life Angela in her red dress. She congratulates him on his newfound success and asks what his current love interest Ramona is like? He explains to Angela that he hasn’t told Ramona yet about his feelings towards her and that she is like Angela because she believes in him, and he sees a future with her. James has clearly not moved from Angela despite her death and expresses that with his visions of the dead federal prosecutor. James tells her he doesn’t want to let her go, but Angela says to him that he can and suggests James shouldn’t tell Ramona about his past and to only let her see the legit side of him. Source: Starz / Power After he is done kissing the air and talking to himself, he heads to Truth to meet with Ramona. He tells her he secured site for the QCP, and the two hug and embrace and finally act on the romantic tension between them and kiss. Ramona apologizes, but James lets her know that their locking lips, was something he has wanted to do for a long time. While James and Ramona are working on getting her cheeks clapped, Blanca and a team of investigators are at his hotel room performing a search. She was able to secure a sneak and peek warrant meaning that they have to do it without messing up the place and leaving a hint of them being there. They discover dirt on his shoes, probably linking him to the crime and, of course, the cellphone that Dre planted on Saxe’s orders. We check back in with James, he is about to step to the podium to make the formal announcement of himself joining Lorette’s campaign. After the event, James and Ramona head outside to have a conversation. James is clearly smitten with Ramona, but she wants to keep the relationship on the low. Unsuspecting to them, James is being watched again by someone in a vehicle, the person is not revealed, of course. After his big press conference, James heads to the cemetery to speak to Raina’s grave to hell her the fantastic news. As he is leaving, Tasha shows up right on time. Tasha thinks him wanting to be Lieutenant Governor is a bad idea and will only lead to more people digging into his drug-dealing past. Source: Starz / Power James ensures Tasha that he passed his background checks that maybe she’s the one who needs to worry about her life and stop selling drugs because he is now wholly legit. He makes sure before he leaves to let his ex-wife know that nothing is gonna get in the way of his future. He also tells Tasha that he and Ramona are an item and that he releases Tasha from their marriage. Everyone Is Trying To Bring Ghost Down Source: Starz / Power D espite telling every damn body in this episode, “no one is going to stop me,” people are trying their very best to do so. Blanca takes her newly discovered evidence to Warner, who is still not on board with this mission to bring down Ghost. His suspicions are raised when Blanca presents him with the cellphone she found in James’ hotel room. He does not believe James, who has successfully evaded them for six seasons, would all of suddenly slip up by taking evidence and keeping it on him. Source: Starz / Power Warner puts two and two together and figures out that it was Saxe who planted the phone in the room and demands the former DA be brought to him immediately, leaving Blanca looking absolutely stunned and dumb. While the fed’s case against him hits a snag, Ghost is busy planning his party to celebrate his nomination. Tate stops by to have a conversation with Ghost, and it seemed like he was trying to warn Ghost about Blanca and Saxe. For some reason, Ghost was spicier than usual and totally blasts Tate making the disgraced councilman forget why he was there in the first place. After Ghost dishes out the verbal lashing on Tate pretty much calling him a professional loser, Ghost leaves to go meet with Riq, who texted him that he needs to see him. The meeting starts off surprisingly well with Riq stating he doesn’t want to argue with his dad anymore. Riq also reveals that he is not there to talk with his dad, but Dre is and Ghost is not too pleased to see the snitch. Source: Starz / Power James tells Riq to leave the room, so he and Dre can have a conversation. Dre is there to ask Ghost for money so he can leave town despite the fact he knows he was set up by his former boss. James agrees to give Dre $250K, so his former underling can flee. Cocky Ghost also makes an appearance once again, he berates the wannabe drug lord. James tells him that he will text him a location that they will meet at where he will give him the money in an hour. Once Dre leaves, Ghost calls the security guard that helped set Dre up, and he tells him to call the cops and send them the footage of Dre on the roof with Jason’s body. After he gets off the phone with the guard and disposes of the burner phones sim card, Tommy sends him a text telling him they need to meet. Of course, he doesn’t trust his former business partner, and he grabs a gun before he leaves to meet with Tommy. Once he arrives at the location, Tommy reveals that he knows Ghost didn’t kill LaKeisha. Despite that, Tommy still feels that he has to kill his “brother,” but the talk is interrupted by gunfire. Tommy claims there are two shooters, and they “team-up” once again to take them down. Source: Starz / Power After exchanging gunfire, Tommy makes it inside but goes quiet. Once Ghost gets inside, he discovers a lone body, but it’s not Tommy. Sirens can be heard in the background, and Ghost takes off before the cops show up. Did Tommy set up Ghost? We head back to DA headquarters, and Saxe is being questioned by Warner, but he is not alone. Tameika is representing him as his attorney now with her Olivia Pope makeover. Warner wants to know how Saxe got the phone, the pressure hits immediately with Blanca confessing to everything and realizing Saxe took the Silver’s cellphone and planted it. Source: Starz / Power Warner is highly upset at what he is learning and wants to Saxe to go to prison, but Tameika convinces Warner that Ghost is the bigger prize they should be going after. Both Warner and Blanca take their findings to the judge who presided over the case that failed to land Ghost in jail, and he also was not too impressed with the evidence they brought him. As a last resort, Warner pulls out the cellphone, but it appears that it wasn’t enough to convince him to give Blanca and Warner a search warrant. Meanwhile, Ghost watches in the cut as Dre is picked up by the cops for the murder of Jason. Dre will manage to get out later by snitching and lying with some help form Blanca claiming he was there the night Ghost killed Terry Sliver. Looks like Saxe has really rubbed off on Blanca as far as his investigative tactics are concerned. James leaves the scene to surprise Riq’s kidnapper Vincent and ask him a favor. Source: Starz / Power Promising him some favors once he gets in office, James wants Vincent’s help with getting a burner phone on the inside to 2-Bit and Spank. Vincent agrees, and we see Tommy’s two goons conveniently in the same cell together handed the phone by a passing guard. It rings immediately with 2-Bit answering to learn much to his surprise it’s Ghost on the other end. After a brief back and forth, James woos 2-Bit and Spanky with the idea of money and revenge, and who can turn that down? Ghost also links up with Tasha at the penthouse, which has been repaired since Tommy shot it up. The two have another intense discussion with Ghost pitching the idea that Riq should cop to killing his sister’s killer. Tasha is not on board with the plan at all because she fears her son going to jail. Keep in mind she got him out here selling drugs and dealing with dangerous people who could also land him behind bars or worst-case scenario, dead. Tasha leaves, and James heads into Raina’s room to reminisce and is visited by his dead daughter in another one of his visions. Source: Starz / Power Frankly, the father and daughter have a conversation they should have had when she was alive, so we’re just gonna leave it that. Last but certainly not least, Ghost has one more conversation, this time with Riq. Unlike the previous one where Riq claimed he was tired of fighting with his father, Riq resorts back to his misfit ways. Riq kicks off the man-to-man convo pointing out that Tasha told him the cops found his blood at the apartment. When Riq brings up Ghost saying if he ever got caught, he would take the rap for him, Ghost counters by saying circumstances change. James brings up the idea that he wants Riq to confess to killing Raymond Jones and that he will be better able to take care of him that way. Riq is not feeling that and calls his dad selfish once again and is not trying to see the bigger picture with his father potentially being Albany, he can pull a lot more strings and help him out. Riq comes up with the “bright idea” that his dad should confess first and tell him everything he has done and somehow convinces his dad to tell him about the time he killed Breeze in his younger days. We honestly think Riq was recording this whole conversation but whatever. After some pleas trying to get his son to listen to him and consider his idea, Riq leaves, pointing out that his dad just broke another promise to him. Who Shot Ghost? Source: Starz / Power The big party was a success, he and Ramona also made their relationship official to the world by kissing in public. James is closing down Truth for the night. While he is doing so, he gets another visit from a ghost in his head, and it’s none other than Kanan. After Kanan tries to convince Ghost that no matter what he does, he will be a terrible person for the rest of his life. Source: Starz / Power J ames immediately dismisses Kanan and continues on, but he has no idea there will be multiple people on their way to the nightclub to see him. While Ghost was talking to himself, Blanca and Tameika broke down to Saxe and Paz separately that the case against Ghost has fallen apart. The two join Tommy, Tasha, Riq, Tate, and Blanca, who are all heading to Truth at the same time it would seem. From Blanca’s perspective, we hear a gunshot, and we immediately see Ghost with a bullet wound to the chest falling from the catwalk he usually oversees his club from. Source: Starz / Power Season six’s mid-season finale ends on another cliffhanger, leaving us to dwell on if Ghost is still alive and who finally put a bullet in him. We won’t find out the answer to either of those questions till January 2020 when Power returns for the final episodes. WOMP WOMP WOMP. Photos: Starz / Power
Move over, Carmen Sandiego. Take a seat, Waldo. When it comes to a national search for a well-known figure, we have a new candidate for folks from coast-to-coast to be on the lookout for… … Kody Brown! Over the past few weeks, multiple members of Brown’s polygamous family have been sharing new family photos on social media. Take Christine, for example. The veteran reality star shared the following photo just a few days ago, explaining her fun adventure featured within it as follows: “Went to Bearizona today!! Super fun experience. Definitely saw many bears.” She included with this caption the hashtag “funwithfamily,” except here’s the thing: a rather important member of this family was absent, not taking part in the fun. Christine posted this message — along with several photos of some of her children and her grandson, Axel, enjoying the outing — with no sign of her husband. Anywhere. For her part, meanwhile, Meri Brown has not shared any photos with Kody in several months. The same can be said for Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown. With rumblings all around the Internet about the future of this popular show and the relationships that comprise it, fans can’t help but wonder: Why isn’t Kody seemingly EVER with any of his spouses?!? “Hey, just seems like [you’re] a single parent you do everything with [your] kids, where’s Kody?” asked one followers on Christine’s Instagram page, in response to one of her new photos. Another posed the same question; Does y’alls husband ever go anywhere with [you]? And then another addressed Christine as follows: Wish your family would update everyone on stuff. Like where is Kody? [You] and the other wives never post any pictures of him and [Robyn] has stopped posting altogether. Makes the rumors of Meri leaving and Robin [sic] divorcing Kody sound more true. Ah, yes: Those rumors… Meri has clearly been unhappy for years now. Granted, she moved with everyone else from Las Vegas to Arizona last year, but she is yet to put down roots there. As previously reported, Meri is merely renting a home , refusing to accept the notion that this is her permanent residence and perhaps that this is her permnanent romance. Remember her castfishing scandal from 2016 ? And subsequent quotes from Kody about how he and Meri are starting over and trying to just “date” for a little bit? There’s really no attempt at even hidingthe fact anymore that Meri doesn’t like her ongoing marital arrangement. What about all that aforementioned Robyn Brown divorce chatter? Unlike Meri, you won’t hear many complaints from this Sister Wives star herself — but we still have reasons to believe she wants out. Heck, we have reasons to believe that Sister Wives as a whole is in chaos . TLC has not yet announced a return date, although we’ve been hearing January 2020 for awhile, and Kody never seems to issue any statement that counters the narrative of general tension throughout his marriages. Could this be the end of the line for everyone involved? Will they soon go their separate directions? We may soon find out. As previously reported Cassie and her trainer bae Alex Fine tied the knot in September after Cassie moved on from her 10-year Diddyship. Now Cassie (who’s pregnant with her first child) is posting pics from her Malibu nuptials and sharing details with VOGUE . According to Cassie she and Alex debated whether or not to get engaged before or after their baby came but ultimately decided on before. Cassie also told VOGUE that Alex surprised her with his proposal that he did alongside the Compton Cowboys. “I knew that Alex was designing a ring, but I honestly wasn’t expecting a super elaborate proposal because we already had the wedding date set, but he planned such a beautiful experience for me. I was so surprised!” He told me to come ready because we were driving straight to dinner to celebrate my birthday early that night as my family was coming into town,” she remembers. “I was running a little late, so he called me to check in.” Cassie pulled up just before the sun went down, and Compton Cowboys leader Randy Savvy came out front to welcome her with flowers. “At that point, I got so nervous, but was also really excited.” She also told VOGUE that they had less than 20 people at their nuptials and explained the process of finding her dress while pregnant. She wanted the dress to feel romantic but comfortable for what she describes as her “intimate backyard wedding.” They did billowy, off-the-shoulder sleeves for romance and a high slit for movement. “When it came to this moment in my life, I knew that [it was] the easier the better for me,” she says. “We chose to create the lace veil to give it a touch of the classic.” She then paired it all with Jimmy Choo shoes and simple studs. The groom wore Musika styled by Paris Libby, while all of the male guests were in black tuxes and the women were asked to wear cream. The couple’s ceremony was performed by close friend and director Peter Berg, the man behind the hit series Friday Night Lights and the newlyweds did their first dance to “Tennessee Whiskey” before ordering heart-shaped pizza. Folks, it’s really happening. Sure, there was widespread disappointment when the world learned that Mike Johnson would not be the next Bachelor , but silver linings don’t get much brighter than this one. As you may have heard, Demi Lovato expressed an interest in Mike with a flirtatious Instagram comment back while he was still competing for Hannah B.’s heart. Mike didn’t make it to the final four, and for a time he was the front-runner for the Bachelor gig, but producers decided to go with Peter Weber instead. Despite those setbacks, everything is still coming up roses for Mike Johnson. The flirtation began anew when Demi posted unedited bikini photos last month, and Mike eagerly expressed his approval. Still, it looked as though the situation would never progress beyond a racy Instagram back-and-forth. Two weeks ago, however, everything changed when we learned that Mike and Demi are actually dating ! Yes, as far as we can tell, these two are not just hooking up, but actually going on dates together at the start of what may well be a developing relationship. Johnson opened up about the situation in a recent interview on Ben Higgins’ podcast. “We’ve gone on more than one date. I like her tattoos. We both have a lot of tattoos and she kisses really well,” Mike said. “I’m getting to know her for her.” Johnson went on to reveal that it was Lovato who made the first move: “For one, I’m all about her too and she definitely was the aggressor. I find it incredibly sexy. I love that,” he said. “Like you want me, come at me. If I want you, I’m going to come at you and I’m coming at her as well.” Asked about dating in the public eye, however, Mike admitted that the situation has presented some challenges. “To be honest, I personally don’t like it. I am very private with my relationships straight up,” he said. “But she’s in this light and that’s why I said she’s so humble and I think the world of her because she has been able to have to deal with this crap. I can’t even imagine from her perspective,” he explained. Fortunately, it seems he’s figured out a solution to the problem — just treat Demi like a regular civilian: “She’s a woman that I treat like a regular individual,” Mike shared. “I’m a man that she treats like a regular man and we do like each other and we’re getting to know each other but what if it were not? People are going to speculate,” he added. “I would rather not have that but at the same time, I’m going to be smooth criminal when I walk through this path.” So yeah, it would’ve been great to see Mike as the first black Bachelor, and the show will still need to address its lack of diversity sometime in the very near future. But, what’s better — remembering the names of 32 blondes who all tried to think of a unique way to jump out of a limo, or traveling the globe with the one of the world’s most iconic pop stars? You be the judge. View Slideshow: Demi Lovato: 19 Candid Confessions from Her Documentary
Heartbreak was in the air last week as Larissa Lima dumped her boyfriend Eric after seven hot and steamy months together. The 90 Day Fiance alum has never been shy about enjoying being showered with attention. But any fans expecting her to move on quickly have another thing coming: she’s so over men. After Larissa dumped Erickee last week (via text message, no less), she’s not feeling in a romantic mood. In a statement to Us Weekly , Larissa Lima has revealed that she’s not looking for another rebound romance. “I’m done with men and men trying to exploit me,” Larissa announced. Larissa had previously tallied the ways in which Eric benefitted from dating her. Perhaps that was her way of shutting down rumors that he was paying for her lifestyle … or maybe she really felt used. An inside source spoke to Us Weekly and described some additional drama that went down. “Colt texted Larissa yesterday after he heard about her split from Eric,” the insider dishes. They exchanged messages, the source says, “and she thought he was being nice and there for her.” “But this morning,” the insider continues. “He reposted a story that Eric gave.” “And Larissa thinks Colt is completely two-faced,” the source concludes. We been knew . “Last time you did it to me,” Larissa asserted furiously at her ex-husband after a text conversation did not go well. “Now I never ever will talk to you,” she vowed. We hope that she keeps that promise to herself. Part of self-care is not getting lured into traps by your ex. She accused Coltee of “always trying to come back then playing innocent online.” Larissa also expressed: “I am tired.” Oh, mood . The nice thing about feuds like this is that text messages have a way of becoming public, which happened here. “You don’t just come to me demanding s–t You dumb broad,” a text message attributed to Colt reads. Not surprising to see him raging at a woman like he’s an old-timey incel. Amazing how people act when cameras aren’t rolling. “You seduce me first,” the text claims. “Then you convince me I’m not a p–s like your exes. …” “You are a loser, always will be,” the text rails at her. “Can’t finish anything, school, marriage, children.” What a charmer. Elsewhere in their texts, Colt acts almost nice. “I never stopped caring for you and i wish you the best,” Coltee’s text claims. “Good luck in your future and your relationships.” he expressed. The text added that he did not “care that much about your life. Even so, he expressed, he found it to be “sad that we can’t even be friends after everything.” The cruel messages mixed with kind ones are a classic manipulator tactic. Does Colt even notice when he’s doing it at this point? As for her split with Eric, Larissa posted a message last week about her feelings on that matter. “There is no hard feelings or regrettes [sic],” she epxressed. Larissa continued: “But I need to look in my own soul and focus on being the best Larissa I can be.” “I try to heal one painful breakup by jumping in relationship with Erickee [sic],” she admitted. She concluded: “But I know now I need to work on me and focus on my healing of my scars.” View Slideshow: Larissa Lima: Seekng Treatment for Anxiety, Depression
Hope you find time to read this it’s from my heart. So stated Justin Bieber as the caption attached to a lengthy, VERY personal and revealing message that he shared with Instagram followers on Monday, September 2. The singer wrote approximately 1,000 words on such topics as: His past drug use. How he struggled with such massive wealth and fame at a young age. What it was like to grow up with two young parents. How his marriage to Hailey Baldwin has basically saved his life. Began Bieber in this emotional post: It’s hard to get out of bed in the morning with the right attitude when you are overwhelmed with your life your past, job, responsibilities, emotions, your family, finances, your relationships. When it feels like there’s trouble after trouble after trouble. You start foreseeing the day through lenses of ‘dread’ and anticipate another bad day. A cycle of feeling disappointment after disappointment. Sometimes it can even get to the point where you don’t even want to live anymore. This is heavy stuff, folks. This past May, Bieber wrote at length about his battle with anxiety . He’s very clearly been trying to evolve as a person for a long time now. In this new message, which has obviously gone extremelt viral, the 25-year-old explains that he constantly felt “unfulfilled” despite his nearly unparalleled levels of succeess. He goes on to discuss the pressure felt by child stars, writing how this his entire world “was flipped on its head” at a young age. Here’s more from Justin on the topic: I went from a 13 year old boy from a small town to being praised left and right by the world with millions saying how much they loved me and how great I was. Everyone did everything for me so I never even learned the fundamentals of responsibility. By this point I was 18 with no skills in the real world, with millions of dollars and access to whatever I wanted. This is a very scary concept for anyone. By 20 I made every bad decision you could have thought and went from one of the most loved and adored people in the world to the most ridiculed, judged and hated person in the world! Bieber doesn’t hold back anything here, either. He gets as candid as he’s ever been before. At one point, Bieber addresses his drug use, stating that he he started doing “pretty heavy drugs” at age 19 and “abused all of my relationships.” He also says that he thinks the reason so many artists have turned to drugs is “due to not being able to manage the huge ups and downs that come with being an entertainer.” Another section: I became resentful, disrespectful to women, and angry. I became distant to everyone who loved me, and I was hiding behind, a shell of a person that i had become. I felt like i could never turn it around,” he wrote before reflecting on his relationship with wife Hailey Baldwin Justin continues, trying to take responsibility for many of his former misdeeds: It’s taken me years to bounce back from all of these terrible decisions, fix broken relationships, and change relationship habits. Luckily god blessed me with extraordinary people who love me for me. This is when he brings up Baldwin and their marriage . Now i am navigating the best season of my life ‘MARRIAGE’ !! Which is an amazing crazy new responsibility. You learn patience, trust, commitment, kindness, humility and all of the things it looks like to be a good man. Bieber ended his message by encouraging everyone out there to really just be kind; to themselves and to each other. “All this to say even when The odds are against you keep fighting,” he wrote. Like we said: pretty heavy stuff. We applaud Bieber for recognizing his issues and his mistakes — and for doing everything in his power to be a better person overall. If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Troubled eldest son Matt Brown just reconciled his way back onto Alaskan Bush People , but now another family conflict could rock their world. Bam Bam has had it up to here with how his family treats his girlfriend. At this point, there’s only one thing keeping him around. … RadarOnline reports that 34-year-old Bam Bam Brown is “completely fed up” with his family’s weird double standards. Specifically, his girlfriend Allison Kagan seems to get nothing but the cold shoulder from his parents, and he’s had enough. Recent happy relationship news from his brothers has made it impossible for him to ignore how much his parents like everyone else’s girlfriends. “They do not show Bam’s woman Allison the same level of respect,” the insider explains. “And it really just sets him off,” the source explains. The insider adds that he’s so angry “because they’ve known her longer than any of his brother’s new fame-hungry girls.” It’s no huge mystery why Billy and others don’t care for Allie as much as as they do for Rhain or Raquell or Raiven. Unlike those women, Allison used to work on Alaskan Bush People . It looks like his loved ones didn’t enjoy seeing her make the switch from professional to romantic with Bam Bam. Even so, he and Allison headed off and bought a boat, working hard to totally fix it up. An insider at the time made it clear that the couple “had no desire to return to TV, and they didn’t need to.” So what has the two of them spending time in Washington? Money, of course! What else would it be? “They both know what they are doing,” the source points out. “Because they are smart people.” “They are getting paid handsomely,” the insider notes. “And they know how to run the show like a machine,” the source observes. “Because they understand both sides of it.” If any Alaskan Bush People fans are hoping that Bam Bam and Allison will settle down on the 435-acre property Billy bought, think again. They’re there for the cash from the show, and Bam Bam doesn’t want to expose Allie to rudeness unless they’re being paid for their trouble. For now, sure, they’ll play ball when the show is filming. “But,” cautions the insider, “once the program is done, which will happen eventually, they are out of there.” Sad to think of Alaskan Bush People coming to an end, but even the best shows eventually run their course. Honestly, this sounds like a smart, sensible move on Bam Bam’s part. Alaskan Bush People has made his family into millionaires. Bam Bam absolutely deserves a piece of the action — because fans and viewers want to see him, too. While it won’t be easy if Allison continues to get snubbed, being able to swallow your pride for a while is worth it for a hefty paycheck. In the mean time, maybe Billy’s attitude will have softened after Rhain, Raquell, and Raiven. View Slideshow: Alaskan Bush People: 13 Secrets They Don’t Want You to Know
In June the world was introduced to 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days couple Rebecca and Zied in TLC’s teaser trailer. The pair raised eyebrows for a handful of reasons, one of which is that Rebecca was already married to someone else. Now the series has finally premiered, and while we’ve got a way to go before we learn Rebecca’s fate, we’re here to tell you at least one of her relationships is officially over. When Zied — and 90 Day fans — met Rebecca, she was sitting on a pretty big secret. Not only had Rebecca been married three times, she was still married to her third husband. “I want the engagement, I want the wedding, I want our life to start,” Rebecca said in the premier. “But,” she said, “I just have left a lot of things out about my past.” “I’m keeping a secret from Zied,” the 47-year-old admitted, referring of course to her marital status. “I have no idea what Zied is going to do when he finds out,” Rebecca worried during her confessional. “He could absolutely end this relationship,” she reasoned. But as we reported, and as Rebecca goes on to explain, the whole situation isn’t quite as shady as it seems. In truth, Rebecca was only married in the legal sense. Not that that’s a small detail — the legal recognition is arguably the whole point of getting married, especially on 90 Day Fiance . But Rebecca was never two-timing Zied; she was separated from her husband, but hadn’t finalized her divorce. “As of right now, I’m not technically divorced from my ex,” said Rebecca in the confessional. She went on to explain that she “just kept putting it off” emotionally, because the relationship ended so badly. Sometimes, relationships end so badly that you can’t bare to face your ex under any circumstances. We could understand how that would interfere with the divorce process, which often requires more painful face time with an ex. Unfortunately it’s something that needs to be dealt with before working up to a new marriage. Now, it looks like Rebecca has finally cleared away the old baggage and paved the way for new suitors like Zied. According to court documents recently obtained by In Touch , Rebecca’s divorce was finalized on July 9. Like Zied, Rebecca’s ex-husband was from overseas. Rebecca and her Moroccan ex originally married in 2013, but were separated in January of 2018. It would be over a year before she actually filed for divorce in May of 2019, well after meeting Zied. But hey, better late than never, right? All things considered, the turn-around on that divorce was pretty quick, once Rebecca actually filed for it. Sometimes these things get messy, and drag on for months to years in court. The first episode shows Rebecca beginning the process, heading to court to file the paperwork. But since the divorce wasn’t finalized until last month, it likely won’t be covered on this season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days . It’s a shame we won’t get to see if the divorce saves Rebecca and Zied’s relationship on screen any time soon. But judging from the comments made by her (alleged) son on reddit in June, Rebecca and Zied survived the ordeal and still love each other very much. So, we can’t say for sure if Rebecca is single, but at least we all know she’s not married. We’d like to congratulate Rebecca on her un-nuptuals, and wish her the best of luck with her new beau. Tune into 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days on TLC to catch more of Rebecca and Zied. View Slideshow: 90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days: Meet the Season 3 Stars!!
