Rather than attend the Boy Scout Jamboree, marking the organization’s 100th anniversary, President Obama broke with tradition and opted for an appearance on ABC’s The View, as well as to serve as the headline attraction at several Democratic fundraisers. Obama, instead, sent a taped video message to the Scouts, which was not well received.
