Lauren Conrad Cosmopolitan Cover, Photos: Revealed!

The newly engaged Lauren Conrad, who covers this week’s Cosmopolitan , says she had no indication that William Tell was planning to pop the question. The 27-year-old fashion designer says she didn’t think the University of Southern California law student was ready to get engaged … but was he ever! “He didn’t even ask my friends, which was a bold move,” Lauren Conrad says. “He said, ‘I know you, and I know what you like.’ And I love it. It’s perfect.” The two have yet to set a date, but the former Hills star isn’t worried. In fact, she’s just happy to have found a nice guy after years of dating bad boys. “You have the rest of your life to be married. Enjoy falling in love. When girls get caught up in the timeline, it becomes more about the wedding than the marriage.” “You should be with someone with whom you could elope and be happy.” As for how she knew the 33-year-old William Tell was The One? “William hates it when I say this, but he really is a very nice guy, and when you meet a nice guy who also manages to keep your interest, that is the dream.” “If you’re going to settle down, it should be someone you can’t stop thinking about. Especially in your 20s. If I was single in my 60s, I would totally settle. I would!” Regarding what she might tell her friends about love? “Being on television all those years, I got to view my own behavior,” she recalls. “One thing I realized is that I was too hard on my friends when it came to guys.” “Instinctually, I wanted to protect them. But then you come off as judge-y and people are reluctant to come to you. I had to cut ‘I told you so’ from my vocabulary.”

Joe Giudice Spotted with Mystery Date: Who is She?!?

Teresa Giudice is facing decades in prison and a very hefty fine as the result of federal fraud charges . So this is the last thing the reality star needs: cameras have caught husband Joe Giudice having coffee at a diner in New Jersey… with someone who decidely NOT his wife! As recounted by Radar Online, the rendezvous took went down about 30 minutes from the home in which the Giudices reside, with Joe’s mystery date wearing a large hat and sunglasses; i.e. clearly trying to hide her face. An onlooker snapped the above photo and confirmed to Radar that the female in question was “DEFINITELY not Teresa,” adding: “She was completely disguising herself with a hat and huge sunglasses that she wouldn’t take off inside. They were sitting over coffee and occasionally Joe would reach over and touch her hand while talking. They were there for a while.” Scandalous! This isn’t the first time rumors of Joe cheating on Teresa have come up. In June of 2012, sources alleged he actually stepped on his wife with the couple’s nanny . Teresa, though, called the story “fake” and said her husband was simply “meeting to talk business,” defending the woman as someone she and her “family [have known] since she was in high school.” In 2011, meanwhile, Joe was accused of sleeping with a random woman at Fridays .

Kid Wants Sister Kicked Out of the House, as Illustrated By Epic Poem

A young woman recently shared a photo of a poem created her brother Jonathan when they were younger. Clearly, their relationship was rocky back then. “My parents keep this framed on the wall,” she wrote on Reddit. “It’s a poem written and illustrated by my brother.” That it is. And it’s pretty awesome: To be sure, the feeling was mutual: “I’ve been told I was totally fine when my parents brought my brother home. Excited even,” the woman recalls. “Then I asked when we were sending him back.” Fortunately, the work, which was originally published in an elementary school poetry book, can be laughed at these days, as they get along very well . Back in the day, though, the heave-ho sounded pretty good.
