LeAnn Rimes, Brandi Glanville Call Twitter Truce

Their long-running feud recently escalated on Twitter, but now Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes are burying the social media hatchet – together. After battling it out over Twitter (and all other methods of media, and presumably in private as well) for over a year, they swear it’s finally over. “As a collective unit, Brandi and I would like all negativity to cease toward one another,” wrote Rimes, who’s engaged to Brandi’s ex, Eddie Cibrian. When Eddie and LeAnn got together in 2009, both were married to other people – he to Brandi Glanville and she to Dean Sheremet. Much bitterness ensued. Rimes says she’s done bashing Brandi – and wants her fans to stop, too. “We have communicated and have a direct understanding that we are ONLY ourselves on Twitter and have no other accounts that try to destroy one another.” “Please for our families’ sake stop the hate and let us live OUR lives. We don’t need opinions or outside help for that to happen. Thanks, LeAnn and Brandi.” The statement was subsequently retweeted by Glanville. While it’s a bit silly to call out your own followers for backing you up in a feud with your sworn enemy, it’s good they resolved their differences in any case. [Photos: Fame Pictures]

Miley Cyrus Returns to Twitter!!!!!

She’s back, folks. In October 2009, Miley Cyrus deleted her Twitter account, saying she wanted a bit more of a private life. What has changed now? It’s unclear, but Miley is back to social networking. Sort of. Over the weekend, the singer Tweeted “This is my new way to connect. When I need to speak out I will tweet from @Rock_Mafia ROCK MAFIA FOREVER.” Then, to prove she was actually behind the keyboard, Cyrus posted the following photo of herself and producer Antonina Armato: As for THG? We never left you, readers! Be sure to follow us on Twitter for the latest opinions and news items!

Should Lindsay Lohan Plea Bargain or Go to Trial?

She may cut her losses and take a short stint in jail or continue to fight what may be a losing battle. Either way, Lindsay Lohan will appear in court this week. The starlet is heading back to L.A. today with her brother Michael Jr., in what some sources say is a sign she is leaning towards accepting a plea deal after all. Lindsay stands charged with felony grand theft, having allegedly pilfered a $2,500 necklace. She faces up to a year in STATE prison if she’s convicted. She says she’s innocent, but it’s more complicated than that. Not only would myriad probation violations likely land her in hot water even if she were found not guilty, the prosecution will dredge up Lindsay’s klepto nature . If she doesn’t take the deal, which would require her to spend three months in jail (whittled down to much less with good behavior) her past will be an issue. That’s because with probation, a judge alone makes the call. She could be remanded into custody as she awaits trial, ensuring she’s locked up either way. In any case, she has until March 25 to take the plea deal on the table. If she passes, which she has to this point , a preliminary hearing will take place in April. Tell us: Should Lindsay Lohan accept the plea bargain?
