HD-DVD might have died but Blu-ray is still in trouble

Just when you thought that the high def format war might have been over it seems the chinese government has different ideas. The state sponsered format CBHD (China Blue HD) now has a 3% market share lead over Blu-ray in China, indicating that a brand new format ar might erupt. Stil its hard to believe that either of the format will ultimatley survive given that I personally think the future lies in HD content on demand, downloaded from the internet.

Man sodomized by police Taser plans to sue

A Boise, Idaho, police officer who pushed a Taser inside a man’s buttocks and threatened to “Taser his balls” violated use-of-force policy, but didn’t break the law, an ombudsman has found. The man in question, whose identity is being withheld, plans to sue the Boise police.
