Lamar Odom Checks Himself Into Rehab One year after facing down death and permanent brain damage after his near-fatal overdose in a Nevada brothel , Lamar Odom has checked himself into rehab to get a handle on his drug issues . The news comes just five days before his divorce from Khloe Kardashian is set to become final . But as a source tells E!online , Lamar is really just trying to get well for himself and move on to a better level in his life: “It was his own decision. He wanted to work on his mental and physical health for the next chapter of his life. He has not fallen off the wagon, but he understands the importance of maintaining his sobriety.” That’s good to hear! Granted, Lamar has had a lot of setbacks on the road to finally solidifying his sobriety — including reports of binge-boozing and rumors of homelessness. But the source says that he’s definitely living well and is just focusing on his health right now. “Lamar’s not homeless. He has a nice place in California. He is doing well.
