The 2010 World Cup tournament kicked off with today, as tens of thousands of enthusiastic fans filled South Africa’s Soccer City for the opening ceremony and first match. South Africa’s Bafana Bafana national team faced Mexico, beating expectations in a game that ended in a 1-to-1 tie. Mexico – Sport – FIFA World Cup – South Africa – World Cup
