Insiders behind the upcoming Superman: Man of Steel have confirmed that gorgeous ginger Amy Adams will play Lois Lane in the franchise reboot, which will be shooting in Chicago this summer. Director Zack Snyder said in an interview with the LA Times that Lois Lane was a “linchpin” to the film and that the Depression-era character would be updated for 2012, adding: “There was a big, giant search for Lois. For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role.
