Golden Globes 2017: Who Should Win?

The 74th annual Golden Globe Awards will broadcast by NBC Sunday, January 8. There are a lot of different awards up for grabs, but who will emerge victorious in the race for the most awards? We have some predictions for you.  Scroll down to find out who we think should win.  1. Drama Series Despite what some may say, there is still no other show on TV quite like Game of Thrones. The sheer scale and writing is on another level from the other shows in the category. With some tweaks, Westworld could get there. This Is Us will win because it’s the only show on the list about family values, but Game of Thrones should win. 2. Drama Series – Actor Rami Malek is without a doubt the best actor in this category. Despite a creative nosedive for Mr. Robot in Season 2, Rami Malek turned in an other outstanding performance as Elliot Alderson. Then again, Matthew Rhys has been turning in solid performances on The Americans for four seasons. Rhys will eke out the win over the others in the category, but Malek should win. 3. Drama Series – Actress Westworld shocked us all with a solid first season that made us question the world around us. Part of that was Evan Rachel Wood’s convincing portrayal of Dolores. Considering the acclaim the series has acieved – particularly for Wood’s performance, she should and will win it. 4. Comedy or Musical Series Donald Glover’s Atlanta has been a hit with critics and viewers. It should and will secure the win over Veep and Mozart in the Jungle. 5. Comedy or Musical – Actress Sarah Jessica Parker will do battle with the likes of Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Gina Rodriguez and Rachel Bloom. There’s no denying that she deserves the win. After years away from a hit show, her acting chops are still there. She should and will win. 6. Comedy or Musical – Actor The writing on Atlanta was just the tip of the iceberg. Donald Glover’s performance as Earnest Marks struck a chord with viewers. So much so that he should and will take the win over Nick Nolte, Jefrey Tambor, Anthony Anderson and Gael Garcia Bernal. Amy Adams is in the April Issue of GQ UK….and I don’t find her hot… I don’t even know what I’ve seen her in. I don’t even feel like further investigating this post…. I guess we can just try to visualize her orange pubic hair, something that used to make me gag when I thought about it, mainly because of the contrast of orange against pink against white white skin….but something in my later years has become fascinating because in all the gross I’ve fucked…none have had orange bush…and I feel like I’m missing out on a terrible fucking experience…that is probably Karma from pointing and laughing at girls in high school calling them Fire Crotch, probably decade before Paris Hilton and her rich friends did it to LOHAN…because I guess they read the site..back when the site mattered…. Amy Adams is in the recent issue of LOVE MAGAZINE that shared a cover with Kendall Jenner, which is probably depressing for an Academy Award nominated actress I’ve never really heard of, but people seem to dig, even though I think she looks like shit, but maybe that’s jus the nature of this photoshoot, you know a little grimy, that’s the look they are going for, because she’s an actress and actresses can take on any role…or maybe she’s just not that hot… The point is that it has that voyeuristic, creepy American Apparel vibe…that makes you feel like you’re with a bunch of silly girls acting silly thanks to the drugs…playful and posing like a bunch of crackheads…and for some reason that is far more erotic than something glam and pristine. I like dirty and run down…it’s all I know….thanks to sex with discounted women…something we all know Amy Adams isn’t but plays up nicely when in fashion magazines. That’s why she gets paid the big bucks.

Ashley Wagner: The New McKayla Maroney?

Ashley Wagner’s figure skating short program was hot but the judges scores left her cold. The 22-year-old American skater did a little shimmy with joy as she took her bows on the ice, confident her performance was excellent. But when she saw her score – a 63.10 – she couldn’t hide her disappointment. Like, at all. Wagner’s shocked face quickly became the Sochi Olympics version of McKayla Maroney’s “not impressed” face from the 2012 Summer Olympics. “Bullsh*t”, she mouthed to her teammates, although she later amended her statement to “To score that low was very disappointing to me,” when she spoke to reporters. The score put Wagner in fourth place but it was good enough to advance the U.S. to the next round, where they ended up with a bronze medal in team skating. I think she deserves a gold medal in awesome faces, in any case. Remember when McMayla Maroney wasn’t impressed either at the 2012 Summer Olympics? Flappy Bird Taken Down From App Stores; Developer "Cannot Take This Anymore"

Flappy Bird, the addictive mobile game that flew to the top of the iPhone and Android app downloads charts in recent months, has now flown the coop. A tweet from the creator suggested that its huge success had become a burden for him personally, despite the insane sums of money he banked. “I am sorry ‘Flappy Bird’ users, 22 hours from now, I will take ‘Flappy Bird’ down,” developer Dong Nguyen wrote Saturday. “I cannot take this anymore.” What is the “this” he’s referring to? Flappy Bird Pulled Nguyen, a Vietnamese developer with a studio called DotGears, did not reply to interviews request, but has previously said that the game “ruined” his “simple life.” “It is not anything related to legal issues,” he said. “I just cannot keep it anymore.” The notoriety for creating the no-frills game, in which players steer a tiny bird through an obstacle course of metal pipes, is not something he ever sought. Although new players can no longer download “Flappy Bird,” the popular game remains playable for those who had already added it to their devices. As of last week, “Flappy Bird” had an average four-star rating from more than 543,000 reviews in the Apple App Store and 228,000 on Android. It reportedly earns $50,000 a DAY in mobile ad sales alone. As the flap over the game being taken down continues, hundreds of phones with “Flappy Bird” installed have appeared on eBay at prices up to $15,000.

Amy Adams attended Philip Seymour Hoffman ‘s funeral last week Valentino made the mistake of using the event as a way to promote of one of their luxury handbags. The fashion house sent an email announcing their new Garavani Rockstud Duble bag after Adams toted it to the late actor’s wake.  Now Adams’ rep is speaking out against the tasteless stunt, saying: “Amy Adams is not a paid spokesperson for Valentino, and the suggestion she would use this moment to participate in a promotion is truly appalling.”  Valentino Apologizes For Amy Adams PR Blast From Philip Seymour Hoffman Wake A rep for Valentino expressed regret for the gaffe in a statement that read: “We sincerely regret releasing a photo to the media this morning of Amy Adams with a Valentino bag.” “We were not aware the photograph was taken while she was attending the wake of Philip Seymour Hoffman. It was an innocent mistake, and we apologize to Ms. Adams, who was not aware, or a part of, our P.R. efforts,” spokesperson Mona Swanson went on.  Let this tacky fashion faux pas now known as “bag-gate” be a lesson to PR companies out there.
