San Bernardino County has been open about it's unwillingness to live by the law passed by the voters 16 years ago. Law enforcement has been quoted as saying that they don't allow medical marijuana in “their” county even though California State Law clearly allows it. Houston elects first openly gay mayor

Annise Parker has been elected by the voters as Houston's first openly gay mayor, seizing 53.6 percent of the vote. Of the more than 152,000 residents who turned out to cast ballots in the fourth largest U.S
