We tend to talk about the victims of the Shoah in the context of the entire community of Six Million. But the people who died in the Holocaust were not named “Six Million.” Each one of them was an individual. Among those slaughtered by the Nazi’s were mothers worrying about their childrens’ homework, young girls with crushes on young boys, young boys who cared more about soccer than young girls.
