His longtime clients included Richard Gere, Denzel Washington, Robert Downey Jr., Steve Martin and Mel Gibson, the latter of whom dug deep to issue a wholesome, non-controversial statement: “It’s said of agents, ‘They have no hearts.’ Ed was all heart!
