17 Really Stupid Things Stars Have Said on Twitter

Earlier this week, Lindsay Lohan made her latest mistake in life, dropping the N-Word while boasting about a Kanye West concert on Twitter. The actress quickly deleted her faux pas… and then proceeded to crack Instagram up with this Photoshop fail . But the initial point is this: Lohan may have done some bat$hit crazy things throughout the past decade or so, but writing something dumb on Twitter is pretty far down on that list. Because she is far from alone in this misguided endeavor. 17 Dumb Things Celebrities Have Said on Twitter 1. Lindsay Lohan Lohan removed the N-Word reference in this Tweet not long after she posted it (following a Kanye West concert). But nothing ever disappears from the Internet! 2. Amanda Bynes View Photo Amanda Bynes has plenty of issues. But she thinks Drake is ugly?!? “@drake please don’t think you’re good looking!” she once wrote. “Ew!…I’ll post ugly pics of @Drake every time I see one! Not hard ;)…Ugly far apart eyes.” 3. Alec Baldwin View Photo Alec Baldwin has a temper problem. That was never more evident than when he went on a homophobic rant against The Daily Mail writer George Stark, Tweeting: “I’m gonna find you, George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I’m gonna fuck… you… up. I’d put my foot up your fucking ass, George Stark, but I’m sure you’d dig it too much.” 4. Ashton Kutcher View Photo After Penn State fired football coach Joe Paterno because he helped cover up a child rape case, Kutcher Tweeted: “How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste.” He may not have had all the information at the time. Gwyneth Paltrow View Photo The Iron Man star created an uproar after writing of photo of Jay-Z and Kanye West, “N****s in Paris for real.” Granted, she was just quoting a song. But still. 6. Jason Biggs View Photo Remember when that airplane vanished? CNN sure does! And Jason Biggs used it as a chance to make a joke, Tweeting: “Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?” 7. Keri Hilton Hilson apologized for posting this photo and for writing the caption “Amy Winehouse resurrected to party w/ me!!! (seriously, uncanny resemblance).” Many saw it as insensitive, considering Winehouse died of a drug overdose. 8. Ice-T View Photo Remember when Russell Armstrong from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills killed himself? Ice-T couldn’t help himself when he wrote: “Bad Joke… But alotta those wives would make me consider it.” Advertisement A message from our sponsor. 9. Michael Moore View Photo The director made his disdain about American Sniper’s depiction of Chris Kyle clear with the following Tweet: “My uncle killed by sniper in WW2. We were taught snipers were cowards. Will shoot u in the back. Snipers aren’t heroes. And invaders r worse.” 10. Roseanne Barr View Photo Amidst the Bill Cosby sexual assault allegations, Roseanne ran this picture and wrote: “Got in a tussle w bill cosby. U shoyld see that mfer.” 11. Chris Brown View Photo Chros Brown has done far worse to women, but he once Tweeted of Tamar Braxton: “You the same bitch having threesomes like the rest of these hoes. U tried it too Tamara.” 12. Jaden Smith View Photo “If Everybody In The World Dropped Out Of School We Would Have A Much More Intelligent Society . . . Everybody Get Off Your Phones And Go Do What You Actually Wanna Do.” We do agree with the second part of his statement. Advertisement A message from our sponsor. 13. Anthony Weiner View Photo Anthony Weiner DID dumb things on Twitter more than say them, but come on. We can’t NOT include him here. 14. Rihanna Rihanna says she never meant to Tweet #FreePalestine. The message was taken down very soon after going up. 15. Rashida Jones View Photo Rashida Jones came out and apologized in 2012 after writing of a certain movie star: “It’s time. Like John Travolta. Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let’s do this.” 16. Steve Martin View Photo Asked by a fan, “Is this how you spell lasonia?” Martin replied: “It depends. Are you in an African-American neighborhood or at an Italian restaurant?” He later apologized. Advertisement A message from our sponsor. 17. DiGiorno Pizza DiGiorno Pizza misunderstood the #WhyIStayed hashtag, Tweeting this while jumping in to a discussion about domestic violence. The End. Up Next: ” 17 Dumb Things Celebrities Have Said on Twitter .” We’ll be redirecting you shortly… Remember when Alec Baldwin went on a homophobic tirade? When Anthony Weiner had a virtual affair? When Jason Biggs mocked those who died on that Malaysian Airline flight ? Or when Amanda Bynes somehow thought Drake was ugly?!? Indeed, social media can be a blessing or a curse for celebrities. Click through the above examples to remember times they simply wrote some really stupid stuff on there.

Watch Castle Online: Season 6 Episode 11

It’s safe to say Castle did not ring in the new year with one of its lighter episodes. Quite the opposite, in fact, as Castle Season 6 Episode 11 featured an arsonist-turned-murder, a majorly charred corpse and the seemingly real possibility that Espo would miss the birth of his child. Because he’d be dead. “Under Fire,” in fact, featured both Esposito and Ryan fighting for their lives, engulfed by flames in the basement of warehouse. A secret , sub -basement, that is. How did they get out? We’ll never tell. Watch Castle online now for the reveal:

Steve Martin Explains, Apologizes For Racist Tweet

Social media has led to a social gaffe for Steve Martin, but he’s taking full responsibility for his racist tweet and explaining in detail how it came about. The actor, writer and former Oscar host, 68, was quipping with fans on Twitter when he apparently went too far when the topic turned to grammar. Asked by a fan, “Is this how you spell lasonia?” Martin said: “It depends. Are you in an African-American neighborhood or at an Italian restaurant?” Quickly realizing the line might offend, Martin deleted the tweet and apologized . In the face of criticism that ensued, he offered a longer explanation. “I was riffing on Twitter, inviting people to ask me grammar questions,” the funnyman wrote. “I replied with what I hoped were funny answers.” “For example, a person might write ‘What’s the difference between then and than?’ I would say, ‘then is a conjunctive preposition, and than is a misspelling of thank’.” “I have done similar things to this on other occasions, and there is a great spirit of fun between me and the Twitter followers.” “I was going along fine when someone wrote, ‘How do you spell lasonia?’ I wrote: ‘It depends if you are in an African American neighborhood or an Italian restaurant.'” “I knew of the name Lasonia. I did not make it up, nor do I find it funny.” “So to me the answer was either Lasonia (with a capital), or Lasagna, depending on what you meant. That they sounded alike in this rare and particular context struck me as funny.” “That was the joke. When the tweet went out, I saw some negative comments and immediately deleted the tweet and apologized.” “I gathered the perception was that I was making fun of African American names. Later, thinking it over, I realized the tweet was irresponsible, and made a fuller apology on Twitter.” “Comedy is treacherous. I used to try out jokes in clubs and the audience’s feedback would tell me when I had crossed a line, or how to shape a joke so it is clear.” “Today, the process is faster. It’s your brain, a button, then millions of reactions. But it’s my job to know.” Apology accepted?

Justin Timberlake Saturday Night Live Ratings: Huge!

This just in: Justin Timberlake is a beloved Saturday Night Live host. The superstar – who hosted the sketch show last night and performed as its musical guest – carried SNL to its biggest ratings since Charles Barkley emceed in January 2012. And for good reason. Timberlake joined the exclusive five-time hosting club at the outset of the evening, which included a bit about Hugo Chavez dying and featured such A-listers as Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Chevy Chase. He then starred in an ad for Moet & Chandon, donned a giant tofu costume and, best of all, did NOT appear in a Californians skit. Did you tune in? What did you think of JT as host?   He’s the best! He’s okay! Hated him! Bring back Kevin Hart! View Poll »
