On Friday after a board meeting the officials of Michael McAteer, a liquidator for Quinn Insurance, announced that it was necessary for them to cut down some of their workforce in order to defend their financial future. They said that the company has been going through the hardest recession period, so resultantly about 300 people will loose their jobs in Blanchard Town and 200 jobs will go to Derrylin Enniskillen.
