Josh Duggar has clearly been battling serious issues for some time. In fact, a look at his website reveals some signs of trouble long before he became a scandal-plagued pariah who brought down a reality TV empire. On Josh and wife Anna Duggar’s site, the 27-year-old hinted at having impure desires and “temptations” from an early age in a previous post. “As I became a teenage young man I was constantly tempted to have lots of wrong thoughts, and often battled to keep my heart right,” he writes. “One of the greatest things that helped me,” or supposedly helped him, he adds, “in my struggles was my parents’ commitment to accountability.” “They were faithful to talk with each one of their children – if we were willing to share honestly and openly with them – to maintain a clear conscience.” “I learned quickly that great freedom can be achieved by accountability, and great accountability requires humility and openness.” ” I often had failures in my early teenage years, but found I had a clear conscience only when I was willing to confess quickly to God and my parents.” We now know, of course, what those failures were – ask Jessa and Jill Duggar – though it’s unclear if he understands the meaning of accountability. His temptations clearly were wide-ranging and unabated, too, despite the praise he lavished upon his future wife back in the day. By that night I still could not get her off my mind!” “I went to my dad and told him what I felt like God had told me. He told me he thought it could be a possibility, and then asked if I felt that I was ready.” On Thursday, it was revealed that Josh Duggar used Ashley Madison to troll for sex partners, making him essentially “the biggest hypocrite ever.” Josh admitted he cheated on Anna and is a porn addict , though he later edited his statement to remove the porn part … like it makes a difference. It’s not clear if Danica Dillon was among his cheating partners, but his double life – coupled with what he did for a living – has tarnished his family. Being a shady individual is one thing, but this clown spent the bulk of his time decrying the sexual behaviors of others as ungodly. Unbelievable. The troubled reality star, of course, also molested his own sisters when he was a teenager, costing him his job at the Family Research Council. When that scandal broke earlier this year, 19 Kids & Counting was at its peak popularity. Since then, its downfall has been extreme and abrupt.
