Lucy Hale has grown into an acting sensation due to the success of Pretty Little Liars . But the 21-year old tells the latest issue of Teen Vogue that she “wanted to be a singer” while growing up in Memphis. ABC Family fans are glad she followed a different career path. In the magazine’s featured interview, Hale also dishes on Pretty Little Liars spoilers , fashion and her affection for a certain curly-haired singer. Excerpts follow. Even family members try to squeeze information out of me.” On Taylor Swift : “She’s amazing – listening to her songs is like reading a girl’s diary. We’ve gone through a lot of the same relationship things.” On preferred fashion : “When I dress up for events, I prefer Marc Jacobs and Dior. But I dream about wearing Chanel one day.” On life in Los Angeles : “There’s jealousy everywhere and tons of politics. The problem is that people in L.A. never really have to grow up.”
