Dancing With The Stars: Who’s Kicked Off?

Monday night’s performances were great. It had introduced its first ever “Double Score Showdown” which allowed the judges to score the night’s dances twice. Each couple has given their best to please the audience and the judges. However, another journey has come to the end for one couple on Dancing With The Stars. The couples performed tango and rumba. A combined score were given for their performance and techniques. The soap star Aiden Turner with his partner Edyta Sliwinska landed in the bottom two after receiving a score of 33 points. Dancing with the Stars: Couples Danced Tango and Rumba

The couples were set to dance tango and rumba for this week’s challenge. Everybody gave their best move. The Monday night’s performance show introduced the first ever “Double Score Showdown”. This allowed the judges to judge the tango and the rumba twice. Each couple received points for their technique and another set for their performance. A total of 60 points will be given for the night’s performance. Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya have garnered the highest score again, which is 52 points. This has put them at the top of the leader board for the second week in a row. Although the couple was still suffering from a little jet lag, they didn’t miss a step in their tango. It was a perfect blend of artistry and technique. Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough performed a more sensual rumba. This time, one of the judges observed Nicole to be nervous. There were a few missed steps noted. Despite of this, the judges still gave them 50 points, putting them in the second place for the second week in a row. Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood are now on the third place when Baywatch bombshell had the ballroom buzzing after her steamy and sensual rumba. Their performance received a standing ovation from the audience. The couple received 47 points. Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke had the best dance of the season. The duo received 44 points. Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy started the tango well but ended it bad. Erin was more focused on her technique. They gained 39 points. Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower performed an attacking tango. It turned out that the couple was not connected emotionally and physically. They got 38 points. Niecy Nash and Louis van Amstel have dedicated their rumba to Nash’s brother Michael. Michael was killed 17 years ago. The crowd enjoyed but the judges felt the other way around. They got 36 points. Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska performed a stiff-rumba. They received 33 points. Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani received 32 points. Despite the custody battle with her ex-husband, Gosselin made a mini breakthrough and a step in the right direction, which made this her best dance of the season. It’s all done for another couple on Dancing with the Stars. Every couple gave their best move on Monday’s competition, but one couple must end their journey. Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa performed waltz. Their dance tells a story of a father returning home from a war to see his daughter, in which they earned 13 points. The couple received the lowest score among the other competitors. On Tuesday, the results show that it’s already over for the duo. Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa were eliminated. Latest on Dancing with the Stars 2010: Kate Gosselin Remained, Buzz Aldrin Sent Home

Tuesday’s result show of the Dancing with the Stars has sent another couple home. Everyone has been expecting Kate Gosselin to be sent home but instead it was the retired astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Gosselin got all the negative critics from her waltz dance in the tune of Lady Gaga Paparazzi . She got a score of 15 out of 30. From ABC’s site, Len Goodman lamented, “There was no passion, drama, intensity. It wasn’t very good, Kate. Sorry.” Carrie Ann Inaba noted that Gosselin’s performance was “odd” and “hard to watch.” “I don’t feel the emotion got to your face,” she added. “That was very strange.” “For once, you played the character — you had the look of the super b***h from hell!” But, Tonioli said, Gosselin looked like she was walking. “Next time,” he implored, “dance!”. However, she remained in the show and Buzz Aldrin was sent home with a score of 13. “I did this show for the fighter pilots out there, the military people and the elder geezers like me who would just like to see an elder come back week after week.” He added that he’s “interested also in having the public be thankful for the great successes that we had in the Apollo program and look forward to even greater successes in our future space program.” Adding Gosselin’s torment is that her ex-husband Jon with his lawyer are now planning to file full physical custody for their children because of her participation of the show. She can’t give their kids quality time according to Jon’s company.
