If you’ve never heard of Hefe Wine, consider yourself lucky. Hefe is the abusive “rapper” who dated Iggy Azalea in 2008 when she was only 18. We put “rapper” in quotes, because dude’s main profession is extorting his successful ex. Wine demanded a divorce from Iggy last year, despite the fact that the couple was never married. The reason, of course, was that his other attempts to make money off of her success – such as threatening to release an Iggy Azalea sex tape – all fell flat for various reasons. Wine’s attempt to fleece Iggy in divorce court turned out to be a bust, but being the persistent golddigger that he is, Hefe is giving it another go, and this time he claims to have proof that he and Iggy were man and wife. TMZ is reporting that Wine’s latest witness is a Houston doctor who’s willing to testify that Hefe and Iggy visited his office in 2008 and stated that they were married. There’s no record indicating that they ever legally got hitched, but that might not matter, as under Texas law, if a couple lives together and claims to be married, then they basically are. That loophole could prove to be lucrative for Hefe (and expensive for Iggy), as Wine is demanding half of the profits from any music that Azalea wrote while they were together. He also claims to have whole albums’ worth of music that he and Iggy recorded togther that he’s currently legally prohibited from releasing.
