Justin Timberlake Denies Dropping B Word on Britney

Justin Timberlake performed live for the first time in five years Saturday night, debuting two new tracks at the DirecTV Super Bowl concert in New Orleans. And referring to Britney Spears as a bitch in the process? That’s certainly what it seemed like when Timberlake introduced his 2002 breakup anthem, “Cry Me a River,” by telling attendees: “Sometimes in life, you think you found the one, but then one day you find out that she is just some bitch.” Rather self-explanatory, no? Considering JT has admitted in the past that the track was penned with Britney in mind? Not according to the artist himself, who Tweeted in response to the supposed name-calling: “Wouldn’t disrespect ANYONE personally. Ever. #Relax #ItsBritneyBitch I do love that saying though*with accent* #Respect.” Ummm… okay. So we can all agree JT just called Britney a bitch , right?
