Kanye West has been in our lives for a full decade now. Yesterday marked the 10-year anniversary of “The College Dropout,” West’s acclaimed debut album. And how did the future Kim Kardashian respond to this milestone? With a Twitter rant, of course, thanking fans, saying he’s “that same kid from Chicago” and taking aim at any and all doors. Wrote West: “I am extremely grateful to each and every person along that road who helped, lent an ear, lent their voice.. gave of their heart to that project, and to all the projects that followed, and are to come.” Kanye’s next project, of course, may be a personal one. He and Kardashian are expected to get married in May . “I am honored and humbled by my fans, for the unwavering support and love over the past ten years,” Kanye added. “I wake up every day trying to give something back to you that you can rock to and be proud of.” And for those afraid West is about to slow down, he makes it clear: That isn’t part of the rapper’s plans. “Ten years later I am still the same kid from Chicago, still dreaming out loud, still banging on the door,” West Tweeted, concluding: “The doors may be heavier, but I promise you WE WILL BREAK THEM.” And, when taking a break from breaking doors, we can only hope Kanye will continue to rant… 8 Best Kanye West Rants Open Slideshow 1.
