It turns out, however, that Kim may have a perfectly good reason for the extravagant purchase: she’s hoping it will help save her marriage. There’s been much talk recently of a “rough patch” in Kim and Kanye’s relationship . The famous couple spent Thanksgiving apart and are rumored to have spent over a month living in different countries so that Kanye could work on his new album. But if the “Babe, I gotta work!” excuse was just part of Kanye’s ruse to secure some alone time, then the jig is officially up, because TMZ is reporting that Kim plans to build a massive, fully-functional recording studio on her newly-acquired property. Naturally, five acres leaves room for more than just a studio, and Kim reportedly plans to fully utilize every inch of the new space with with a movie theater, game room, basketball court, spa, and mini-theme park for North and any future children.
