While we often focus on what’s new in theaters, here’s a look at the recent movies now on DVD and Blu-Ray, courtesy of our friends at Movie Fanatic. This week’s DVD releases : Hanna : A little girl (Saoirse Ronan) is brought up by her father (Eric Bana) in the middle of a desolate European forest, then decides it’s time for her to re-enter the world in an unexpected tale that blends action and intrigue. Everything Must Go : Will Ferrell plays a man who loses everything in one day. He is fired. His wife leaves him. Naturally, he goes on a bender. While Ferrell’s comedy is often on display, his dramatic chops take center stage. Vidal Sassoon The Movie : This documentary looks at the first hairstylist celebrity, Vidal Sassoon. Sassoon took the fashion world by storm in the 1960s.
