If you are in the US and you are wondering why Google changed its logo to a certain word named “Topeka”, then you are fooled. LOL. Topeka is today’s April Fools Prank Online by the search engine giant Google. Google used this word “Topeka” to give honor to what the real “Topeka” did for them. Accordingly, Topeka is a name of a town in Kansas. In an effort to win the bid for Google’s broadband network service, If you don’t know, Topeka Mayor Bill Bunten issued a proclamation last month to temporarily change their town’s name from Topeka to Google Kansas. Well, this move by residents of Topeka is honored by Google and they are just returning the favor that’s why they changed their company name to Topeka. However, if you are asking if Google is really changing its name, the answer to that is a big NO. Google is not changing its name permanently to Topeka. It was just a temporary change. It will go back to its original “Google” name after April Fools Day. Because of that fact, you cannot use the word “Topekaing” vis a vis the word “Googling” when you are using Google’s search engine.
