Javaris Crittenton Pleads Guilty To Murder, Sentenced 23 Years Bruh just threw his life away over some shiny trinkets … Via WSB-TV Former NBA player and Georgia Tech standout Javaris Crittenton pleaded guilty in court Wednesday to the 2011 murder of a mother of four. Crittenton, an alleged gang member, was connected to the shooting death of Atlanta mother Julian Jones. Prosecutors claimed Crittenton was aiming for the man who allegedly robbed him days earlier. In court Wednesday, Crittenton made a tearful apology to the family. He told them he wishes he could change places with Jones. He called it a horrible accident. Crittenton accepted a 23-year sentence as part of the deal. Clearly this young man learned absolutely nothing from O.J. Simpson.
