Look in the sky. It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s the end times! If you have a telescope sitting around while you’re in South Africa or Antartica in a couple of hours, you’ll see an asteroid coming dangerously close to this lovely planet we live on. But according to NASA, it doesn’t have a chance of harming us: “There is no chance that 2011 MD will hit Earth but scientists will use the close pass as opportunity to study it w/ radar observations,” according to a NASA statement. Phew. Good thing. We have at least until May and the Mayan calendar ends before we need to get worried. That is, if we survive the new rapture.
