The 10-episode series reveals the desperate thirsts that drive people to kill. Hosted by entertainer, businesswoman, and actress LisaRaye McCoy, the series peeks into the world of money, mansions, and power… and the people who would do anything to get there. Each suspenseful MURDER IN THE THIRST brings these twisted tales to life, recreating an extravagant world of luxury and lies, and featuring revealing interviews with the people who lived through each story. From the desperate tale of former NFL player Rae Carruth to the “Pit bill in Prada,” a hot shot attorney who was stabbed to death in her Louisiana law office, the series will have viewers puzzling over every twist and turn. “Murder In The Thirst” Premieres, Sunday, July 7 at 9 PM ET/PT on BET. Nicki Minaj Throws Down the Gauntlet Against BET, Won’t Perform at Awards

Source: Leon Bennett / Getty Nicki Minaj has finally come up for air after Sunday’s Grammy Awards, taking to Twitter to pull out of the BET Awards and subsequent BET Experience. The reasoning–a tweet from the channel’s verified account that includes a link to an article about Cardi B’s Grammy win with the text “Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront.” The tweet has since disappeared from BET’s timeline but, it’s too little too late for Queen Barbie and her Barbie Army. Nicki Minaj tweeted Monday that Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or awards show. Since Nicki seems to be the only one repping Young Money these days, her threat may not hold much weight on the way this year’s awards weekend will play out. Early this morning, those same smokers coughed up a lung when they read their Twitter timelines: Had Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed betrayed his blunt-smokin’ constituents???? No. According to the AJC , an unidentified staffer misread an email and posted a hasty tweet. Bold Azz Beckies Toss A Drink On Lakers Fans Who Knelt During The Anthem [Video]

A young woman by the name of Savannah Sugg decided to play anthem police at the Lakers game the other night, running up on two black or latino Lakers fans who decided not to stand during the Star Spangled Banner . “Excuse me…this is for the national anthem you pieces of sh*t!” she said, while tossing her drink. No word on if Savannah faced any repercussions for her act at all (we doubt it), but she’s very lucky no one decided to send her tumbling down the concrete stairs after her assault. Tossing a drink is a definite fight igniter…but the two young men were smart not to get physical with her, as we all know who would have faced the consequences there. But in the meantime, the drink tosser and her hypeman camera operator have been identified. Hopefully, someone extends them the same courtesy they showed these young men: Savannah Sugg & Haley Perea.
