Nicki Minaj Throws Down the Gauntlet Against BET, Won’t Perform at Awards

Source: Leon Bennett / Getty Nicki Minaj has finally come up for air after Sunday’s Grammy Awards, taking to Twitter to pull out of the BET Awards and subsequent BET Experience. The reasoning–a tweet from the channel’s verified account that includes a link to an article about Cardi B’s Grammy win with the text “Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront.” The tweet has since disappeared from BET’s timeline but, it’s too little too late for Queen Barbie and her Barbie Army. Nicki Minaj tweeted Monday that Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or awards show. Since Nicki seems to be the only one repping Young Money these days, her threat may not hold much weight on the way this year’s awards weekend will play out. I’ve always said that Karlie Kloss, or as she prefers to be called, Taylor Swift’s life-sized Barbie, who was once owned by Taylor Swift and lived with Taylor Swift, in what could have been a weird sexual fetish, where Taylor put her Barbie up in her pussy, when she wasn’t brushing her Barbie’s hair, or dressing her Barbie, in a weird “I had no childhood, I was making country songs” weirdness that is Taylor Swift…..is the worst of the Victoria’s Secret models…because she was an actual model pushing 6 foot 3 and big as hell…not the kind of thing I’d want to see in lingerie ever… Well, I stick to that, but would also like to add leggings to the mix, because ultimately I love leggings, but don’t really care to see Karlie Kloss in leggings…and that in and of itself is insanity… I don’t know why she exists, but I know why Taylor Swift replaced her in some Toy Story storyline of getting herself some Tim Allen voiced toy, throwing away the Forrest Gump voiced toy…only the Victoria’s Secret model version…Rich people are fucked. Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman: Engaged! Ready to See the Ring?

Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman portrayed occasional lovers on Revenge. But the gorgeous actress and very handsome husband have now agreed to make the fictional into the non-fictional, the sporadic into the permanent. Meaning what, exactly? They just got engaged!!!!!!! The former co-stars made the announcement in a somewhat subtle but also very romantic manner: VanCamp shared the following photo on her Instagram page last night, including with it a simple heart emoji as a caption. Because what else is there to say, right? That is most definitely an engagement ring and those, we can only presume, are tears of joy that the actress is covering up with her hands. VanCamp and Bowman were two of the main leads on ABC’s Revenge, a drama that ran from 2011 through 2015. The former portrayed Emily Thorne, a young woman intent on destroying the lives of those who framed her father for an act of terrorism. Bowman played Daniel Grayson, a key member of the family on whom Emily set her vengeful sights. Neither star has talked much in public about their romance with the other, but that doesn’t mean they’ve remained completely mum. “I have a wonderful love in my life,” VanCamp told InStyle Australia two years ago, for instance, adding at the time: “Trust is the most important thing in any relationship, because everything falls into place after that.” Aware of the pitfalls that can endanger many co-stars who turn into couples, VanCamp also told Elle Canada in 2014 that she and Bowman try to keep the professional separated from the personal. “Josh and I keep it all very separate,” she said, continuing as follows: “I barely talk about him in interviews, to be honest. It’s just really funny in the moments when we’re playing these absolutely absurd things. I call him ‘wife-beater Daniel.’ “It’s hard for my family to watch – it’s also hard for them to see me in that light. But we’re actors. None of that lives in any of us. Amy Schumer Set to Star in Barbie Movie, Haters Unite

There are plenty of people who don’t care for Amy Schumer, and that’s fine. Maybe she’s not your cup of tea. Maybe you don’t like her sense of humor, or maybe you think she’s been too offensive at times. All that’s fine. This is your life, make your own choices. But if you don’t like her because of the way she looks , or if you’ve expressed your negative feelings about her by making fun of her body ? Well, you’re probably just an asshole. And unfortunately, judging by the reaction to this new piece of Schumer news, the world is just filled to the brim, absolutely overflowing, with assholes Amy is reportedly in talks to star in a new live-action movie about Barbie. The movie is supposed to have a PG rating, so it wouldn’t have any of Amy’s usual raunchiness , but she is said to be doing a rewrite of the current script. As for the basic plot, it will be acknowledged that Amy doesn’t have the classic unrealistic Barbie proportions. Remember, Mattel recently released Barbies that come in more varied, more realistic body types? Yeah, you can now buy Curvy Barbies, Petite Barbies, and Tall Barbies. The movie will play on that. Amy’s Barbie character lives in Barbieland, where all the different Barbies live. You know, Dentist Barbie, Babysitter Barbie, Dog Walker Barbie, Gymnastics Barbie … But her version of Barbie will get banished from Barbieland because she doesn’t quite fit the perfect Barbie mold. She is forced out into the real world, she learns about herself, etc. Sounds cute, right? But so many people are furious about this casting. “I just saw that Amy Schumer will play Barbie in an upcoming movie,” one jackass tweeted. “Now they should get Jonah Hill for Ken and I’ll be there on opening day.” “So Amy Schumer’s gonna play a FAT Barbie with a gut and two chins and a pie fetish,” another wrote. Yet another douchebag tweeted “More fat f-cks making the news. Amy Schumer as Barbie? The mental illness in Hollywood is mind-boggling.” But as disappointing as those reactions were, there were still some decent people in the world who hated this news for less superficial reasons. “Dear Hollywood,” one person asked, “please stop shoving Amy Schumer at us. Sincerely, everyone on planet earth.” “There are plenty of women of many sizes who aren’t racist ,” another commented. “They should consider them before Amy.” “Donald Trump as POTUS.
