This is so sad: St. Louis police said three-year-old Lilianna Moore was home alone when she accidentally shot herself in the head. Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metro Police Department were called to the Shaw neighborhood Tuesday night in the 3800 block of Flad Avenue at 8:40 p.m. in South St. Louis City. Police said the child found the gun tucked between two mattresses in an adult’s bedroom. The girl’s father was visiting a girlfriend at the time of the shooting. Moore was transported to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police have yet to determine if charges will be filed against the girl’s father or the other adult.
