I had the honor to help kick off PAX East in Boston as part of a panel Wired games editor Chris Kohler put together entitled Journalists Vs. Developers: The Ultimate Grudge Match. Irrational Games director of product development Tim Gerritsen and Harmonix publicist John Drake took the opposing side, with EA.com editor-in-chief and former writer Jeff Green moderating and providing plenty of laughs. Gaming’s journalists and developers actually tend to mostly got along, but if you’re looking for insight into the complicated relationship between these two industry players, it’s well worth watching.
