treehugger Kentucky Fried Chicken has introduced the now-famous and favorite Double Down Sandwich. The sample test market done has ooohhd customers and the sensation traveled out nationwide. This unique sandwich which uses no buns, is comprised of two chicken patties ’sandwich’ in the bacon, cheese and special sauce. While many that fear the Double Down’s 560-calorie ‘gutbuster’ factor are justified, it should be noted that the McDonald’s Big Mac has nearly identical health values. The restaurant chain also offers a grilled chicken version which contains fifteen percent fewer calories. Sacramento KFC visited the set of Fox 40 Live on Monday, and the votes in studio were very positive. “Oh My God, this is amazing!” exclaimed Ben Ormsby of the Fox 40 Live crew.
