My name is Matilde and11/11/11 was by far the best day of my life. On 10/11/11 I was having lunch and it was a normal day in Portugal when my mum gets a text from my dad, who is in Spain saying, “Don’t tell Matilde but Justin Bieber will be in Madrid tomorrow for a meet and greet”. My mum immediately told me because she knew I would eventually find out and when she told me, I started crying thinking about how I was in Portugal for the break and Justin Bieber, my idol was in Madrid when I wasn’t there. I started bursting out crying and I couldn’t control myself until my mum told me that if I REALLY wanted to go, she would let me get on a plane and go. I was SO happy when she said that but my first reaction was that I had to take my friend Rita with me. We are both crazy in love with Justin Bieber and just the idea of meeting him without her was just wrong. She had school though unlike me so her parents weren’t letting her come which got me so depressed because I know how much she loves him and how much this would mean to her. I begged my mum to try and convince her parents and she did and finally, at around 1am her parents let her go and we had to arrange the flight super fast and in such a rush. I told my friend and we were both SUPER hyper and still couldn’t believe what was happening. I ended up going to sleep at 4am and waking up at 7am because of the flight I had to get but I didn’t care because I was about to meet JUSTIN BIEBER. It was early in the morning and I woke up and went to the airport with my mother and my friend Rita. We were picking up our tickets when the lady tells us that we weren’t allowed to travel without our parents because we were underaged. We panicked ! Just with the thought that we might not be able to go and at that moment we thought everything was ruined. But then this other lady came and told us that the other lady was wrong and that we could travel. We were SO SO SO SO happy about this and when we got on the plane we couldn’t shut up! We talked the whole flight about how amazing and perfect and cute and sweet and hot Justin Bieber would be and we still couldn’t believe it. When we landed in Madrid it was about 12pm and since we still had some time we decided to go around the city and have lunch and take our time. After having lunch, we went to my house and met my dad there, we were running late so I had to change in 10 minutes which was horribly stressful for me because I was starting to think we would get there late and not be able to see him! Luckily we got to the center of the city and time and as we were arriving at the hotel Urban which was where Justin Bieber would be, we started hearing loud screams of girls and I thought to myself “Yep, this is the right place”. We parked in the hotel and a man walked us in to the hotel restaurant where we would wait for the meet and greet. We waited for about 2 hours and every 15 minutes we would hear the girls outside screaming and all I could think was “ITS HIM! ITS HIM! ITS HIM! HE’S HERE! HE’S HERE! HE’S HERE!” but it ended up just being nothing… At one point I was shaking because of how nervous I was to see him . I had to go to the bathroom so I asked my friend to come with me and as we were going we heard the girls screaming and looking at the elevator and I thought “ITS HIM” so I went to the bathroom as fast as I could in hope that I would come back in time to see him. We got back and we still had to wait for another 30 minutes but that was all right for me. I would wait more than that if I had to. After a while waiting, a man came and told us to follow him so we went with him and went up these stairs. We got to this area and then I saw KENNY . Right there my heart started to beat SSSUUUPPPEEERRR fast because wherever Kenny is, Justin is! Then Kenny told us to follow him into this small room, like a dressing room sort of thing and then I saw him. I saw Justin Bieber standing right in front of my eyes. As he came closer to me my heart started beating as fast as it never had beaten before and when he grabbed me, he gave me 2 KISSES ON THE CHEEK AND HUGGED ME. I felt like none of it was real. It was just me, my friend Rita, my dad, Justin Bieber and Kenny in this one room and I just couldn’t believe it was really happening. I was so nervous but Justin was SO nice to us I couldn’t believe it. At one point he grabbed my arm and held me against him with his hand around my waist and said we should take a picture. I was completely frozen and I just couldn’t believe that JUSTIN BIEBER, my idol, was holding me. We took the picture and then we got to hang out with him for about 10 minutes and those were the best moments of my life. We were laughing and having fun when I hear Kenny saying, “JB we gotta go” and I knew that meant that it was going to be over. Justin tried to stay a little longer with us but he couldn’t because he had to go but before he left he said “Thank you so much for being here”. He was so nice, sweet, caring, cute, adorable, beautiful and all the good things in the world. When they walked us out I couldn’t help but start crying my eyes out because of what had just happened. They say the 11/11/11 was supposed to be a lucky and a good day. FOR ME IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE AND A DAY I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET.
