Image via Larry Busacca/Getty Rob Gronkowski’s Home Robbed Following Super Bowl Loss Talk about adding insult to injury … Following their big Super Bowl loss Sunday night, New England Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski suffered another big loss. According to the Boston Globe , the police were called to Gronks crib upon reports that “multiple safes and guns” were stolen during a burglary. William D. Baker, Foxborough Police Chief, referred to the two losses as a “double whammy” lol: “I don’t know if you ever been the victim of a break-in, but when you are robbed and there is an intrustion into your personal space, it’s unpleasant whether you are Rob Gronkowski or Bill Baker,’’ the chief said. “For him it’s a double whammy coming off the loss.” No one was home at the time of the robbery and no one was hurt. Aw, poor Patriot.
