The surgery was performed by transgendered OB-GYN Dr. Marci Bowers, a pioneer in the gender reassignment surgery field. Beatie also revealed that he and his wife Nancy are now separated. Beatie explains, “Nancy hasn’t seen the new me yet. Like all marriages, we have our ups and downs, and we’re going through a rough patch right now.
